Good value for the money

The grounds of Riu Palace is beautiful and quite secure. You get a lot more extra with minor tipping. However, while it is not dirty, it could improve on the overall cleanliness of everything. The food is not that bad, but there is barely any change everyday; never mind the restaurants, they are not any better than the buffet.

everything was great. the only thing was that the beds was way too hard and sheets were too stiff. I wish that the hotel would give discounts off excursions. The prices were outrageous for the excursions. The specialty restaurants were okay, not as good as I had expected. Reservations too restrictive. The line for reservations was long and the reservation for our restaurant was three days later. And that was our check-out date. That was ridiculous.

My husband and I read all the reviews before selecting this resort. I have to say, our room did have a bad smell the first 2 days but it's Mexico! The plumbing isn't exactly like the US. The food was good. It's a buffet so what do you expect. We had no problems getting reservations for the restaurants at all. The resort is stunning the room was beautiful. The service was outstanding. This was our first experience at an all-inclusive and we were very impressed. I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in going to CABO.

After extensive research on all inclusive hotels in Cabo we decided on the Riu because of how new and how beautiful it was. We could not have been happier the vacation was perfect. Service was excellent as long as you were nice to them. Food was above average for an all-inclusive. Pool activities were fun. Concierge waswilling to help book anything you wanted. Would definitely stay here again. You must fish for marlin, horseback ride, and do an ATV tour. In fact, do as many activities as possible to take in this beautiful destination.
