"Nice, not great."

We picked Riu because of the all-inclusive perceived value. The value is probably a toss-up. We found the buffet to be great. The dinner reservation system is appalling, extremely inconvenient to schedule and actually get a reservation. It appears the Riu is not making any effort to improve this for the guests. Best dinner was the buffet. The room was modest and relatively clean. There was a room odor which the ceiling fan dissipated. The staff was inconsistent. Most were friendly and competent while a few were apathetic.

My husband & I stayed at the beyond expectial Riu Place Cabo San Lucas Resort In Sept.There's no words to describe the service and hospitality We received. This was paradise for Us and can't wait to return next year with our family.The resort was beyond a 5 star to Us . Also the dinning was beyond Our expectition.Our view was spectactular,so was the entertainment,activity's were also good. anything you want they will accomadate you with no

A friend and I booked this hotel based on the location, which by the way isn't far from Cabo San Lucas. The staff was helpful and catered to our needs. The timing of out trip was also perfect as we went during the middle of the week and beat the crowds.
Nice but very Outside

This hotel was beautiful. Our room was very nice although the a/c did not work well at times. The food was good however most restaurants are outside and it was too hot to enjoy any of them.

This place was beautiful. Great view of the mountains. Food was great. Fish was fresh. People were extremely friendly. Rooms were clean. Pools were large and clean. The drinks were good (when you ask for specific liquors). The only downside was that it was hard to make reservations for the restaurants because people who arrive days before us had taken most of the available slots.
