I've stayed at about 10 hotels in Guatemala City including all the major brands. This hotel is among the cleanest and most luxurious, but not overly expensive. The only downside is that is isn't in zone 10, which is the main business district.

The hotel was great. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms very nice and supported with all immendities. Staff were extremely helpful in assuring that we could get money exchanged, locate a safe taxi and assisted in negotiating the fee. We felt so comfortable with our first stay that we came back on our last night and stay another nite. One of the best hotels I have stayed in in Cenral America.

We only stayed two days, but found the staff very helpful. They had satellite TV, so my husband was able to watch football :). The fitness center and pool are excellent, although there is no outdoor pool. What is very convenient is the hotel is connected to a mall, and the movie theatre is across the street. The mall is very similiar to what you would find in any US mall, so it is not the place for souvenir shopping. The breakfast buffet was excellent, as was our dinner in the hotel restaurant. Overall great hotel, and very safe.

My wife and I stayed here for our wedding night. Our room was gigantic. I would be perfect for anyone staying several nights or as a stop on your way to Antigua. The hotel catered our wedding reception in Antigua--incredible food, incredible service, incredible value. Very accomodating!
