Good for short stays

I stayed in this hotel overnight, before taking the flight back to my country. Hotel is located 10 minutes away from JFK. They offer shuttle service to and from the airport every hour (pickup is at the Federal Circle stop of the JFK Airtrain). Surroundings are not pretty nice, but the hotel is good. Staff is very helpful. Rooms are pretty small, but tidy and clean. Good value if you need just to spend one night near the airport.

The check-in staff was all excellent and the room was fine. Breakfast person was very courteous. Shuttle was prompt and had good & courteous driver. The major problem was the price. I was booking at the last minute through a travel agent -- no Internet access. A high $* with tax was the tariff. It would have been a lot cheaper though online travel website a couple weeks earlier.
Not bad for one night.

Overpriced, but it's NY after all. The rooms are tiny, but clean. Some of the rooms are in the basement with windows at street level. Nest amenities are a deli and burger king on Rockaway Blvd, a block east from the hotel. The surroundings are dismal: the Belt Parkway, a school bus garage, and a sanitation garage, among other industrial facilities.
Not bad for one night.

I am pleased by how I was welcomed and treated, it felt special. Rooms was clean and comfortable. Breakfast made my day even better. Keep up the good work.
