I parked my car in the wrong lot. The staff actually came with me to help me move my car. I was not charged for moving my car to their lot. I paid for the original lot only. Very pleasant kind human beings work here.

It is a beautiful hotel. The only thing I did not like was I asked for a smoking room and did not get it until the second night. I asked a month before the trip. They were accomodating and did rectify the situation. Everyone was VERY helpful and nice. My whole family was there because my son got married on Jan.10 there. They did a beautiful job.

Stay Away

My sister and I stayed there Sept 08 for one night. We were charged over $* in erroneous additional mini-bar charges. We are both pregnant and I couldn't even tell you where the mini bar was in that small room. I have called the accounting department 6 times -everyone tells me they will research it and call me back-no one calls back. Please save your money and stay far far away! The hotel itself is old and could use some updates. There were no towels in our bathroom, and it is very questionable as to whether it was cleaned before we checked in.

Quite Disappointing

Years ago, I worked in this building and have always wanted to stay at the hotel. I was very disappointed. For the price, the room was very shabby - peeling wallpaper, grunge and all. The room never got cool, which in the middle of summer, is tough.

Hotel's convenient to downtown shopping restaurants entertainment and transport (subway stop outside hotel). Hotel's ultralounge XIX chic but expensive ... used Zanzibar Blue (live jazz in basement) instead. Hotel on top 5 floors of 19-story building: some find checkin/lobby hard to find. Good bizcenter. Maid service spotty; tipping didn't improve matters.
