Non-smoking?

As a non-smoker, a room that was used as a smoking room and then cleaned to be offered as a non-smoking room, I feel is unacceptable. Connecting HVAC through rooms is not a smart desision. Or if need be offer a whole floor of non-smoking, so my girlfreind doesn't feel like she is smoking in the morning. Also at a two-hundred dollar a night room charge, internet I feel should be included in the price.
LOVE this place!!!

My boyfriend & I stay here several times a year and never had a problem. The rooms are comfy and clean, the staff is courteous. Great location. It has the best gaming floor in the city, we usually don't go anywhere else since everything that we need is at our disposal here. Many shopping, entertainment and dining options. We sppend hours just walking around inside. You can not beat their winter special rate, it's phenominal. If you want a friendly, relaxing, carefree stay, pick the Trop! I can't wait to go back, we always have such a great time! You won't regret your stay here

My best friend and I decided to stay at the Tropicana because it was decently priced. Initially we did not have very high hopes because when reading other reviews on other sites it seemed like an average hotel. Imagine our surprise when we arrived to one of the most beautiful hotels we had ever stayed in. We were there to celebrate my friend's birthday and when we mentioned that we were instantly upgraded to a suite. We were told the it would be another two hours before they could get the room cleaned, but that was not a problem for us. The staff was so courteous and took such good care of us!! We loved it so much that we're headed back in February for my birthday. The Tropicana is definitely the place to be!!
Will not stay again

Room was dirty, empty beer cans under the bed, hair in sink, and the elevators NEVER worked always stuck, so just took the stairs to check out 14 flights, and no one seemed to care, am planning a return trip to AC but not the tropicana!!!!!!

I have been visiting Atlantic City since I was a young kid. As I got older, I started staying at the Tropican, at least twice a year.(since 1991) I always loved this casino, it was a good value, the staff was friendly, and I loved their Poker Room. That changed this year. I stayed at the Trop in April, and on Memorial Day weekend. I have a host, and I was comped my room throughout the Memorial Day weekend. It was horrible. I used to get a large, beautiful, corner room, this time I was stuck in a dingy 70's era hotel room. The room smelled, and the bathroom was dirty. The staff never did anything to fix the problem, and I was told there were no other rooms available. The sick part is I brough down close to twenty grand, and yet I was treated like they could care less if I was giving them huge action. The final straw came when I visited them later that month in the last weekend of June. The first night I arrived, I left the restaurant where I was dining to smoke a cigarett in the High Limit Black Jack area. An jerk BJ boss, who I didn't recognize, asked me to leave. I said I was eating dinner and always came in for a smoke break. He did not want me in there. He said there were chips in the rack and he didn't feel comfortable with me sitting down at the table. I offerered to stand at the back counter, and he still wanted me to leave. Morom!!! I had given them 12 hours of 100$-$400 a hand BJ play on my last trip. Never again!!! I left and checked in at the aTrump Plaza. It;s redone, and beautiful.
