The hotel was old but very well maintained. It was extremely kid friendly. But still gave oldr people there quit places. The food was fine.
There was to much of a breeze for me. Know where did I read that there is such a breeze in that part of Jamaica in March.
The water sports and activities was unlimited. Great trip.

Just returned from the sunspree resort in Montego Bay.This was a wonderful place to bring our 11 year old son. He spent his days swimming, playing basketball, tennis, and trying to break the record for eating the most ice cream cones! Our room had a great view of the ocean. We booked a deluxe room and were placed in building 5. I would advise booking the upper category room for a better experience. We had friends with us that had an older room without a very good view. The price difference between rooms was not significant, so go for the upgrade! We came for the sun and fun. If you are looking for impressive rooms and gourmet food, this is not the place for you. I will say that the food was fine, and one of the best all inclusive food venues we've experienced. The only downfall was that it was difficult to get into the sit down restaurants, so we got a little tired of eating in the main restaurant . We were able to eat at Sorrento's one evening, and enjoyed the food. Staff at this resort were friendly. If you have been to Jamaica, you know that service can sometimes be "standoff-ish". Bring your own cup for drinks and that will save you frequent trips waiting in line. We bought some unique bamboo cups at the on-site craft market. The beach was nice and very shallow for people that have small children or want to walk out to the reef. Unfortunately it was very windy while we were there, so we were unable to use the paddle boats and Kayaks. My 14 year old did not have a lot to do, but overall we enjoyed this resort for the all inclusive bargain we received.
A top notch operation.

Professional, friendly staff. Spotlessly clean. Good Food/drink. Loved it and will be going back with the kids this time.

I decided to stay here after reading reviews on the website. I am very weary of properties that make all sorts of claims but don't deliver.
I went there with my daughter, the rooms were reasonable, the service, entertanment, food and location were excellent. This is an excellent family location and close enough to other amenities.
The concierge service was also good and helped us book a driver and all the other things we wanted to do.
The only disappointment was that we couldn't stay longer.

We just got back from the Holiday Inn Sunspree resort. For the price this is an excellet deal provided you don't mind children. This is a very family orientet resort with activities for kids every day. The food was great; I'm a vegetarian and did not lack for any meals. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beach was big and very spacious. There was plenty of room. The only thing is that the rooms are hit and miss. Our shower had no water pressure; the hot water was lukewarm at best. Also we could hear everything going on in the room next door's bathroom. The view was very nice from the balcony, and the a/c worked great. Often it was too cold to leave the a/c running. Rooms were very clean , and the safe in the room was easy to use.
