Delightful!

The location is ideal if you want sun, sand, and proximity to other resort hotels. The room was lovely, with an amazing view of the ocean. The pool was immaculate and beautiful. We definitely felt it was worth every penny. Most of the staff went above & beyond to be helpful. Kambia, one of the restaurants, has an affordable a la carte breakfast menu; the dinner menu is limited, but our meal was good. The lobby bar has a hip atmosphere (the drinks are a bit pricey, but in line with other resorts in that part of the hotel zone). I'm looking forward to going back!

I have been there 3 times in 3 years both were about 7days long each. Perfect spot about a 10minute walk from downtown to all the clubs. only downside is the pool gets really hot during the day and its kinda shallow which is good for younger kids but not older like my self.

Would not stay here again

Me and my wife spent our honeymoon at this hotel (12/16/07 - 12/22/07). While this hotel is a beautiful hotel, the hotel staff is terrible. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were given the wrong style room, than what we reserved (it was corrected though). A hotel employee by the escalator ( very rude comments made by him) , insisted we give him our room # (probably for some timeshare thing, at another one of their resorts). NO THANk YOU! Had the buffet breakfast one morning at the hotel, service was terrible (and there were only a handful of people eating there). Hotel gift shop turned the 'closed' sign around upon approaching , and it wasn't even closing time yet. They had the red flags up on the beach the whole time (probably to make guests use their cold pool or luke warm jaccuzi instead, or to eat at their outdoor snackbar). If you love those little critters (ghecko's), then this is your hotel. Had one crawlng around our room, and the housekeeping staff couldn't find it (of course not, after taking what seemed like an eternity). We were truly disappointed by the hotel staff. And would not reccomend or stay here again.

Definately not a 4 star Hotel

Beach is beautiful but couldn't swim because they had RED Warning Flags up for the entire time we were there. They had Flags up 24/7 even when the ocean was calm and there were no waves. Other hotels had there beaches open. We went to public beach to swim no problem there no Red Warning Flags were found. Swimming pools are gorgeous. Lobby is beautiful and absolutely well manicured landscaping. Rooms were definately not a 4 star, even though we stayed at Ocean Front Room 7th floor. Our room was very basic with a small bathroom. They should be rated as 2 1/2 or max 3 star. Pillows were smelly. However, airconditioning worked very well. You can easily find transportation right outside the hotel (Buses). Next time we will be staying at the all inclusive hotel. Because we were paying $30 to $35 to have a breakfast for two people and $45 to $50 for lunch & Dinner. Overall, I would give this hotel 3 star. It's not a bad hotel but it's not the best hotel either. Bottom line, I would not pick this hotel again for myself neither suggest any od my family and friends to stay at Fiesta Americana Condesa Hotel. I rather pay little more and stay at the Rui Palace beautiful hotel and the best location in Cancun. Well, there is always a next time......Am I right? ;-) Good luck and have fun.

My husband and I recently returned from an 8 day stay at this resort and cannot say enough about the staff and facilities. We found it a great value for the money and had done alot of research before booking. We did not take advantage of the "All Inclusive" option but we did receive a 25% discount on food and beverages at the resort. However, you must advise them at check in that your booking included that discount. Also, you cannot bring alcohol or food purchased off site into the resort. We found out the hard way but the staff allowed it with a warning. We would recommend this resort to anyone with very good taste and requiring the best of customer service.
