As a first time traveler I found the entire experience exceeding my expectations. Fiesta Americana Condesa is a great hotel to stay; located in the hotel zone yet somewhat away (only 15 minutes) from Downtown Cancun. The hotel's staff is very friendly and they're always willing to take time from their duties to provide information and assistance. The hotel is well maintained by the staff; room is maintained twice a day. Due to my schedule I was unable to enjoy some of the hotel's amenities. I occasionally was asked by staffers to participate but regretfully I was unable to do so. The pool was excellent however I opted for the real thing - the beach :-D Valuables were kept in a secure safe in my room therefore, making my trip stressless of worry. As a single traveler I met an array of individuals who were friendly and made my stay in Cancun Mexico an unforgettable experience. The best way to travel is by the local buses; drivers are very helpful in directing tourist to any destination. The only problem that I encounted was when paying my bill I opted to pay by USD currency. The concierge didn't have USD currency to provide me with my change.

Hotel Gym: small, extra charge, and still can't use steam and dry saunas as they're connected to the Spa which is additional charge;
Hotel Beach: rocky, so swimming in the ocean is not allowed;
Trip to Chichen Itza: overpriced, taking nearly 5 hours to get there as the bus circles every single hotel to pick up more passengers; meal was included but drink even water was additonal charge; make sure to tell people that it's no longer allowed to climb the pyramid due to the safety reason;
Final Billing: make sure to review it carefully as a small portion of donation was automatically added without even asking.
Awesome!

My boyfriend and I wanted to go on our first vacation together. We thought the fiesta's price was a great deal. When we got to our Hotel, they greeted us well and offered us bottle water. The hotel room was nice and spacious. The view from our room was beautiful.The beach was right next to our Hotel. Everybody was so nice and friendly. Their pool was AWESOME. The food was great, I do recommend getting an all inclusive package. Stay here, It is a good for first timers because the bus stop is right by the Hotel.

The hotel is beautiful and staff is wonderful, I felt very safe in this hotel, it was very clean. When you first arrive, you will go up the escalater to get your room keys. What a view when you arrive seeing the ocean from both sides, and the tile floor is amazing. Reminds me of VEGAS MGM hotel, but without the price tag. Cancun is absolutely amazing, the water is beautiful and the buffet near the pool is excellent. I did not go exclusive b/c the alcohol was not worth it. Paying $88 not worth it, when you can go downtown taking the bus only cost 13 pesos, rougly a buck US dollars. I ate at a restaurant called los Arcos. Good luck and have fun!
This is a wonderful hotel I would stay again!!
