If you want to feel the sand do not stay here. There is *no* beach whatsoever. The staff is friendly as they are everywhere else in the hotel zone. We stayed at the omni a few years ago and loved it. Again there is no beach!

It was my first time to cancun and the experience was Awesome...I stayed at this hotel for 5 days and i totally have no complaints! The cleanliness was outstanding everywhere you turned someone was cleaning. The food was great at hotel as well as off...also very reasonable...location very convinent away from spring breakers but also 10 minutes from the action...Im not a big swimmer so didnt care about the beach...pool huge but a bit shallow. Overall hotel is worth the price and stars.

The Fiestamericana Condesa Cancun is a very nice four star hotel. It shows some signs of wear, especially on the beach, but our ocean view room was well furnished, clean and did have a lovely view of the pool and the beach. The included breakfast buffet was sumptuous and dinner and lunches were pleasant and very reasonably priced. We did not opt for the all inclusive package. The staff was helpful, friendly and competent. Sand on the beach has eroded all along the hotel zone and large exposed rocks make getting in and out of the beautiful azure waters dangerous on all but the calmest days. The swimming pool is nice, but somewhat shallow in most places. There was no problem getting a chaise lounge around the pool or on the beach as the occupancy seemed light. The clientele was well behaved and quiet, unlike the crowd of college students at the hotel next door.
Outstanding Hotel! We will definitely return! Highly recommended.

This hotel was recommended to my by a friend so I knew when booking that we would have a great experience. But upon arrival we got even more than expected. The customer service was second to none and every where you looked at almost any hour there was staff cleaning everything from top to bottom. You could feel the pride they had in their country and their desire to make your stay a memorable one. Unlike some of the other hotels in the hotel zone you actually FELT like you were in Mexico... greatly in part due to the wonderful design of the hotel. We did not opt for the all-inclusive package because we were out during the day. However, breakfast was included and let me just say it was by far the best breakfast buffet I have ever had! So many options from the regular American fare to Mexican specialties. The pool area is gorgeous and there is more than enough room for lounging. The beach is nice during low tide, but very rocky otherwise. It is the same anywhere you go in Cancun though. The bus stop is at the entrance to the hotel which was super convenient... just make sure you plan ahead if you are going out at night as the Oasis is next door and frequented heavily by spring breakers so the buses fill up quickly. I loved that the Condesa goes out of their way to keep it a family/couple friendly environment. We were going for a relaxing vacation without the spring break craziness and that's exactly what we got!

Beautiful hotel, great service! Front desk personnel was definitely both friendly and professional. For instance, we asked it we could be moved to higher floor to have better view of beach...and even though it was not possible to move us the same day, the next day we were told our wish could be granted, and it was done in courteous manner.
In addition, we were provided with maps and tips for eating out and/or other activities. The restaurants in the hotel were wonderful! Again, food was great, and service was outstanding.
