Was Okay

The staff was okay. The food was not up to par. The pool was a bit dirty along with the hot tubs. The AC in the rooms does not get nearly cold enough. We went on a mayan tour I would not suggest it to anyone unless you want to be away for 8 hours. We got roped into this tour that was about two hours from our hotel which we later found out. The tour supplied no water or food, so just be careful before you book any tours read up on them. I do not think I would go back to this hotel.

We were in paradise...excellent services , beatifull hotel. The beach was a dream and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The food at the hotel were very good. If you ride to the town the shops and the local restaurants were excellent too.Overall I will stay again it was a wonderfull vacation...weekend getaway.

We booked through travel website and was told we'd have a king size bed. Instead we were given two very uncomfortable twin beds. The staff at this hotel were all very nice, the breakfast buffet was awesome, and the pool was very pretty. Another negative to the hotel was that there was not any beach, and we had to go to the public beach down the road. It was okay. I would stay somewhere else next time.

Great Place to Visit!!!

Overall we had a wounderful time. The only drawback we had was that the timeshare people, many who are posing as hotel employee's, will attempt vigourously to sell a package to you. Make certain to add breakfast to your room. We took the tour to Chichanitza and paid full price without taking a timeshare tour. The room was clean and comfortable. The atmosphere was pleasant and we enjoyed traveling on the city bus both day and night. Staff was very helpful and worked hard. We would both go again at the drop of a hat.

Friendly staff, fits the price

Hotel was very clean, staff was more than friendly, the room was just a hotel room and the bed was better than normal. Ask for a room with a belcony, some only had a two foot belconys like ours. The breakfast buffet was included with the price of the room, we didn't go all inclusive, there are lots of other places to eat just a short bus ride away. Avoid Bubba Gumps, very expensive, two adults and a 16 year old $95 US and my wife and daughter shared a mean, margarita $15 ea. The hotel has no evening activitys, so after a long day at the pool or your excursion theres nothing to do except go to town, people watch in the lobby or go to the hotel lounge. Oh yea, there is no beach in front of the hotel as the pictures show, you can access the beach from here but not as shown. We stayed first wk in April 09 for 6 days weather was great.
