We arrived at noon and check in wasn't until 4pm. They had a room for us ready immediately. The desk clerk was friendly and informative. Our room was in the Claridge. It was an older hotel but the room was very nice. The first day we didn't have any condiments for the coffee bur I left a note and we had them the second day. We unexpectedly got a room with a view of the ocean and Boardwalk which was a pleasant surprise. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful. You can't use the elevator if you don't have a room key, nice and secure. I would stay there again.

Booked a last minute trip to Bally's on Labor Day Weekend. Okay granted it was last minute, we booked a smoking room, which they did not have upon arrival (but all the other guests checking into next to us got their choice of smoking???) not the worst since most everywhere is non smoking these days. However for the PRICE OF THIS ROOM, you would expect it to at least be clean. The toilet was not flushed when we first went in nor would it flush afterwards, there was hair in the shower and we still could not figure out what was on the bedspread! The bed was rock hard and the room smelled! Maybe we are just spoiled from only staying at the Hilton AC and the Borgotta.
My Bally's Atlantic City, NJ stay

My husband and I wanted to get away for a couple of days and we had already stayed at Bally's before so we knew how nice the hotel and the rooms were. Our room was very nice. It had a mini fridge and a small one cup at a time coffeemaker which was convenient. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Nothing to complain about. The Garden Room cafe was good for breakfast. The express checkout saved us a lot of time and our car was brought to us very quickly on departure. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who likes the Atlantic City atmosphere but doesn't want to spend a small fortune on a room. It's not the Ritz but it's very nice for the price.
Will NOT stay at Bally's again

Yes, Bally's is a very beautiful casino if you are lucky enough to stay in one of the main towers. My mother, daughter and I were one of the unlucky ones who were given a room in the Claridge Tower. This tower is the old Claridge Hotel. So where should I start, the bell captain misplaced our luggage, taking over 2 hours to locate it. The room was outdated, the furniture was old and even though it was a non smoking room it apparently was a smoking room at sometime. The furniture and mattress reeked of smoke. The bath was not clean. The elevators were old and I had to wait 15 minutes for one to stop at my floor which was the 11th. The only highlight was the friendly staff and security. We wanted to eat at the buffet but the line was so long because many of the restuarants were NOT open. We finally ate at Pickles which was awesome. Sally our waitress was Great

Check in took 3o minutes with a huge line I requested 2 beds in Jan when I made the reservationI got there not available. Brought in a lumpy bed with no mattress cover and didn't set it up
asked for additional pillows for my bed ( I have back problems)and the rollaway -was told" no pillows you share"
and she pointed to the bed-
Asked for a mapquest on the way home and they couldn't print it out
Also I made the reservation in my name only and couldn't find my Drivers license they absolutely refused to accept my husband's license( same address same last name mind you) I had to get back in line when I finally found it-Customer service was courteous as they said no to my requests. I would have to be comp'd before I would go back there
