Will not stay here ever again!

My mom and I stayed for two nights for a "girls getaway" in the tower room. The toilet bowl would not flush and we needed to keep calling maintenance. The room was clean but very "used" and not up to the standard of a mohegan sun or foxwoods hotel. We also found a very low class of people staying there. When we went to retrieve our comp money for food the kiosks were down and were told that we could not use our comps for dinner. Needless to say, after gambiling over $ we were in no mood to pay for food! Prior to this visit I hadn't been to A/C in over 10 years and they won't be seeing me again for at least another 20! Very disappointed in Ballys.

My girlfriend and I stayed overnight in the old Claridge Tower with an ocean view. The room was a little dated and the carpet was trashy but other than a stopped up tub it was a nice room. The staff checking-in/out were wonderful, the security guards were helpful when we needed directions. The martinis are strong and the atmosphere was relaxed. The Bellezza Spa area was clean and claming and the swedish massage was out of this world! The bedding was a little different-there wasn't a comforter..but it wasn't uncomfortable to sleep with the "sheet" set-up they had. I think we overpaid for one night..compared to what we actually got

Wouldn't stay here again

My boyfriend and I made reservations at Bally's, and ended up being put in a room at the Claridge - granted, it is owned by Bally's, but not where we wanted to stay. The room smelled of old cigarette smoke, even though we were on a no-smoking floor. The sheets on the bed were dirty, and there were no extra blankets anywhere. Many of the restaurants were also closed. We spent the majority of our time at other casino resorts and would stay somewhere else next time we go to Atlantic City (probably in the fall).

Stay away from The Claridge!!!!

First of all we booked a room at BALLYS and got stuck at The Claridge. Then if we wanted to go to the pool or hot tubs we had to walk back to Ballys and PAY an extra $10 just to swim. Only because we HAD to stay at The Claridge. Even tho we BOOKED Ballys!!!! The Claridge is a part of Ballys we shouldn't have to pay extra money to go to the pool! The room was small and dirty. Maid service was awful. They did NOT understand English! The sheets were not freshly cleaned. The bathroom was dirty. Had sand all over the floor and dirty footprints. I understand that this is one of the oldest hotels in Atlantic City, but the service doesn't have to be, and the rooms don't have to look it either. RENOVATE!!!! I will say that the best part of our hotel stay was the Hot Tubs and Pool. We liked the privacy of all the Hot Tubs.
