I would not stay here, the AC was noisy, the room had a certain moldy smell, I think there are better options in the area.
Very sad experience

Our experince was bad - we make the reservaion on line like the hotel pictures, specially the pool, the rooms .We arrived at the hotel and the was so durty the rooms were of a category 1 start not 3 o 4 as they add-cheepy rooms smelly like a motel on the midle of a road - and for $ 116 dollars - I will never paid more than 116 pesos for some thing like that- never againg in "fiesta Americana - bag publicity by using Americana.

This hotel was the cheapest as I could find this close to the airport. The shuttle service was great and takes you through some interesting areas. The rooms were unclean. There were hairs in my bed!!! And my room was next to some factory with machine and people going all night long, it was a little scary
No aircraft noise!!

Free shuttle from Gate 4. Room large and spotless. Good food selection at buffet. 'Wings' and McDonalds within walking distance. Pool sparkling. 'Safe' hotel taxi available for trips to local shops eg 'Sanborns'.

Had layover in mexico city. Lowest price I could find. 5 minute free shuttle to airport. Hotel has standard rooms in very good shape. Grounds were nice, with a wall around hotel. Pool and buffet breakfast available.Staff was very cordial and efficient.Only problem staff noise in hallway at 4am and 8am.
