Great bang for the buck!

I just returned from a 5 day stay at the Marival. It was my second time to Mexico and my first all inclusive trip. I would def go back to the Marival. Our room was recently remodeled and was very nice. We were on the first floor right by the quite pool and the "bird bar". Almost all of the staff was very friendly. The bartenders were very accomodating and knew how to make a variety of drinks that we have never had before. They were also very appreciative of tips and took great care of my group the entire time. The rooms were clean and in good shape. My only complaint would be that the beds leave a little to be desired. The food overall was good. We ate at the Mexican, Italian, & the International resturants and they were all great. The buffets for breakfast and lunch were normal buffet food which was fine. The only complaint about the resturants is that the dishes were sometimes not as clean as i would have liked, but this is typical of all resorts and large resturants. Overall I would say that this place is an awesome bang for the buck. I got a 4 night 5 day trip for $* round trip!

First of all, it started out wild at the airport, but once we arrived at the Marival Grand and Club, we knew it was going to be the best. Everything looked as it did on the website. Everyone was nice, and helpful (bellboy, desk staff, and even bartender). The room was lovely, spacious, and with a great view. The food was excellent. I can't say anything wrong about the Marival Grand and Club Suites! We'll be visiting it again, soon!!!!!
Bugs!!

We have taken over 25 trips to PV in the last 10 years but this is the first at the Marival. Loved the pools, staff, food etc. but there were bugs (ants in the sand) cockroaches and even those they pretty much had under control but the bedbugs were the worst. They sprayed our room but we have now been home a few days and are still dealing with all the bites. We will try the hotel again but I am going to learn to say "NO BEDBUGS" in Spanish!

The hotel is clean and stylish (well, most parts). All the employees there were very friendly especially to my daughter. The food is not so nice but then again, all the "all inclusive"s are. Though the drinks were better than others. (Try the drinks from the bar in the lobby.)

The rooms were clean, and very pretty. All of the staff was nice and professional. Liquor was good quality. Watch out for the rainy season. Otherwise this was a very beautiful and relaxing place.
