SPRING BREAKER HOTEL 100%

I recently stayed at the Oasis in March 2009 right in the middle of spring break, which is the reason we went down there. Unless you're tipping the bartenders or for the girls showing some clevage expect to wait awhile for your drinks. The rooms are standard, nothing special about them but who cares you're on spring break, you'll barely be in your room anyway. Beach wise it was absolutely gorgeous, the staff isn't strict at all, a group of us came in at around 5 am. drunk and belting out backstreet boys songs and no one seemed to care. If you plan on getting good nights rest, this is the WRONG hotel. This is a SPRING BREAKERS HOTEL during March & April!! Breakfast is really the only GOOD meal the hotel has, the omlets were exceptional. The rest of the food is OK but i would recommend eating at restaurants every once in awhile so you can actually enjoy a meal. The clubs are AMAZING but expect to pay around $70 to get in for open bar (which was well worth it everywhere except Daddy O's). I like big groups of people but it was SO packed you seriously couldn't even move and then to get a drink you have to go to this person who orders them for you and then you have to wait a good 10 or 15 minutes to actually get your drinks. but anyways back to the hotel SPRING BREAK HOTSPOT for sure, people from other hotels were paying daily rates just to party at the Oasis!!!!! :) & student city throws the best partys/contests, SO MUCH FUN!! a group of us are going back for 2010 :) :) cant wait!!

Worst Hotel Ever!

My Husband and I were there over the weekend and had the worst time ever! Check in time is at 3:00 pm, we got there at 6:00pm and they told us that our room was not ready and got it until 10:30pm, only to find out that the AC and the shower was not working and it was extremely hot. We got another room but it was the worst! Like most travelers mentioned, there are only 2 towels in the bathroom, no hand cloths. The smell in the rooms were horrible, it smelt very old and moldy! The rooms definitely need some upgrade! Even though it was an all inclusive hotel we only ate there twice as the lines for the restaurants were very long and you needed to wait the most 45 mins - 1 hr to be seated. If you wanted to avoid the long lines, you needed to stand in line 45 mins before the restaurants open. The food and drinks were okay, nothing out of this world. I have stayed at hotel hotels in Cancun and never had this problem. Will never be back!

We did not even book this hotel.

Within 5 hours of being there, our stuff got stolen!! This hotel was awful. Did not feel secure from day one, "limited" in what we were allowed to do. The only positive thing this hotel has is the Steak House. Management needs people skills, not much security on floors. We booked Ocean view, got Lagoon view. Not enough bars opened after 6pm for all the people there.

You get what you pay for !!!!

Just recently stayed at this hotel May 2009, after reading the review I must admit most of them are true... If you are on a budget and dont care for luxury then this is the place for you.....In other words if you are used to staying in five stars or have in the past...then you might be a little disappointed....We did make the most of our stay....the food isnt all that bad...expect for the burger/hot dog hut. Those burgers were awful!!!!! Our room was horrible!!! Our room had air condition problems. several times....would not stay here again nor do I recommed!!!! unless you are on a serious budget!!!

For how cheap it was I guess waiting 5 hours for towels isnt something you can complain about. You definitely get what you pay for. Very old facilities but also clean. Only 2 dining options were available when we stayed. But good food.
