Memorial Day Weekend

My friends and I went for MDW and had a good time. There is no early check in. Our room wasn't ready until almost 4pm. They do let you check your bags in so we went straight eat and then to the pool until our room was ready. The front staff was super nice. The pool is nice. However, it gets packed by noon and its had to get a couple of chairs together after that time. The swim up bar is great but it closes way too early. The games at the pool are interesting and the pool staff are lively. Overall, the pool set up is nice but the bars should stay open longer. The beach was not crowded at all. However, it gets very anyone with all the people that walk by peddling their wares. The beach was very cleaned. As for dining, my friends and I thought the food was good. We did not make it to any of the speciality restaurants. Overall, we had a great time. The hotel suited our needs perfect and we would stay there again.

We were there in jan...have another trip planned for april

Buyer Beware

My room was infested with bugs, the food was below average and the facility was older. Be weary of their vacation package sales practices...I purchased a timeshare package (3000 other resorts...wouldn't stay at this one again) and terminated the contract within the 5 day termination period and they then went and hit my account after the fact for the downpayment. Very deceptive business practices so be aware of this when the high pressure sales pitch to by a timeshare is thrown at you after you've had a few cocktails at the pool. I would never stay there again.

I didn't want to return to the real world!

After reading some reviews of Temptations before we left, I was not sure what to expect. When we arrived the front desk was friendly, but very busy. Before they give you a room, you talk to the "time-share" people. But that only took a minute and she gave us tips and an overview of where to find stuff. Our room was beautiful, with an excellant view of the Gulf. Everything we saw of the hotel was all updated and the people we talked to had modern rooms. The food was tasty and plentiful (they always made extra effort to make it pretty with fancy sauce drippings on your plate, and ice and fruit carvings). Two restraunts need reservations be sure to give both a try and be pampered, especially the italian one(yum!) There was some confusion over when exactly room-service was available, if you go by the schedule they give you at check-in it is all clear. A little tipping goes a long way! It was nice to have your choice of pools styles depending on your mood. People were from all over the world, that was cool. Even though we have kids at home it was nice to escape and not hear anyone elses' kids either! I also had a massage at the gorgeous spa. When you check out they have to remember to cut off your bracelet they give you, then you get a reciept that the door-man needs before you can pack up in the cab. We would go back.

My husband and I stayed at Temptation for a week this past February. We really liked the activities the hotel organized and the way we were treated by everyone. The food is excellent, they have a great food selection. It is a nice place to go and make new friends. We will be back.
