Resort Experience:
The resort was like one big party. The adult theme of the resort was great fun as long as you aren't a prude. The staff was great and the food and drinks were fine. A travel agent is on-site to arrange tours for you, and I highly recommend Chichén Itzá.
The room was nice. We had a great view of the pool and ocean. It would have been nice if we had a microwave or small refrigerator for our room. I guess they didn't feel it was necessary with an all-inclusive stay.
It was amazing. My only warning is that you should NOT GET A TEMPORARY TATTOO there. Their black tattoos contain a chemical (PPD) that can cause an allergic reaction, blistering, and permanent scarring. Henna is brown, but theirs are black, so you can tell it has the added chemical. After I returned home, I developed a problem with my skin where my tattoo was and had to visit my doctor. Several weeks later I'm still hoping I don't have permanent damage.
