Great hotel

Pros: Polite and helpful staff. Clean and great room. Great view of the ocean and pools from room. Excellent pools and services. Cons: There was construction going on during the day(end of Nov 2008). So some noise issues but not too bad. Simply Seafood restaurant food was less than average.

Great Honeymoon Stay!!

MY husband and I really enjoyed our stay. This was the perfect honeymoon stay. Everything was what we expected and more. The service was excellent, beautiful beach view from our room, Overall two thumbs up!!!

Greatest Vacation Ever!

Loved the place. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and the rest of the hotel looked very nice and elegant. The location was nice and very accessible to the roads that take you to the airport and the ruins. The pools were wonderful and we had no problem with children running all over the place. My friends and I can't wait to come back

This is such a beautiful place! The service was wonderful, the staff was friendly. The hotel was so beautiful. I really enjoyed the privacy and security. In addition, there was not any unruley behavior during spring break. The guests were mostly family or adults. My kids are begging to go again next year! I cannot tell you...we had so much fun! This is the absolute best place to be!

Beware of Aqua World

The JW was an amazing hotel, we had a great time, but I just wanted fellow travelers to be aware of one thing. Aqua World is the only company able to sell excursions onsite. When I had a very legitimate complaint with Aqua World, I asked for a refund. When they refused, I went to the manager of JW for help. After wasting over 5 hours of explaining the situation, waiting for calls to be returned, etc., the final response from JW was Aqua World was a seperate company, and JW could not help me. Taking into account I was staying at a Mariott and paying for that 4 star rating, I expected a little more.
