This is such a beautiful place! The service was wonderful, the staff was friendly. The hotel was so beautiful. I really enjoyed the privacy and security. In addition, there was not any unruley behavior during spring break. The guests were mostly family or adults. My kids are begging to go again next year! I cannot tell you...we had so much fun! This is the absolute best place to be!

The JW was an amazing hotel, we had a great time, but I just wanted fellow travelers to be aware of one thing. Aqua World is the only company able to sell excursions onsite. When I had a very legitimate complaint with Aqua World, I asked for a refund. When they refused, I went to the manager of JW for help. After wasting over 5 hours of explaining the situation, waiting for calls to be returned, etc., the final response from JW was Aqua World was a seperate company, and JW could not help me. Taking into account I was staying at a Mariott and paying for that 4 star rating, I expected a little more.

We've been to cancun approx. 25x. This was 1st time at J.W. Marriott. It was one of our favorite places yet. The staff were so friendly and always smiling. The rooms/bed were the most luxurious. Unfortunately, hurricane DEAN just went by. There is very little beach anywhere. The Mexican people are very hard at working to build it back up. The resorts are open and in great shape. This hotel is next to the Casa Magna Marriott so there is alot of variety with regards to food/spas/gyms/pools.They also do afternoon tea every day. We can't wait for our next stay here.
