The hotel and beach are in a great location; the beach is protected from the surf in a small cove. The beach is raked daily and there is a huge stretch of beach to enjoy. This was the first time we took a family vacation to Mexico and my son (10) and daughter (7) really enjoyed it! There is a bin full of beach toys kids can use to build sand castles. We brought our own snorkel gear and snorkeled the beach at our hotel as well as Dreams hotel next to us. You can also walk over to Dreams hotel and watch the dolphins and/or participate in the dolphin program. One thing we did not know before arriving to the hotel is that if it a 5 diamond and recommends appropriate dress attire... so be prepared to pack some "smart casual" items and dress slacks for certain restaurants. Also cover up for your bathing suits when in the hotel lobby. If you are not planning to dress up for dining, there are quite a few restaurants within walking distance. Downtown is also within a 5 minute driving range and has plenty of restaurants at 50% - 75% the cost... just be very careful if driving!

We just got back from our trip..Nov26th-Dec1 and this hotel was perfect. It had a huge pool...no slides or anything like that which would be nice to add...but it is right on the beach so you can be in the ocean walk a few steps and jump in the pool. I have 2 girls ages 51/2 and 7 and they said this was an awesome hotel. The food was great outside at all the snack bars..bring it to you under a little hut...the outside restaurant had great food too. Our kids ate free the whole time --they have all their favorites! There is a marina to rent stuff right there..we even had a private boat take just us snorkeling close to the hotel..15 minute boat ride. It was very very clean and we had a balcony on the first floor so they could run out to the pool and we could see them from our poarch area.....Would stay here again. Beds where a bit hard..and I like hard beds. In a good area to walk to a few restaurants --the ones kids like like Rainforest Cafe, Hard Rock, chillie's and McDonalds and then grocery stores right there and the little area to shop. CHeap taxi's to the mall and other food stuff. Perfect location not too busy but an easy walk and safe at night! Hotel staff was great. X took my girls on a ride to the room at check in on the cart thing they thought that was the best ever and he told us everything we needed to know. Eveyday the front door men where so helpful and nice and so pleasant! Great time had by all thanks to Fiesta American grand coral!!!!

I have been to Cancun 6 times and the past 2 we have stayed in the FAGCB. This place is the nicest in Cancun and is worth the extra $$. The pool is great and the staff very friendly. The rooms are immaculate and the pools and beach were fantastic. The restaurants were on the pricey side for what you we ordered. Overall - you cannot go wrong here!!!

Warm welcome including a refreshing non-alcoholic drink. Quick check-in. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful rooms (had 2 rooms for family with 19 & (2)17 year olds one would have fit us but wanted extra room for girls). Pools & beach were awesome. Pool side chairs go early though. Still plenty of lounge chairs at pool and on beach. Service at swim -up bar excellent, food great. Too many unsupervised kids at times, BUT staff will move them aside to give you a seat at the swim-up bar, just ask! Kids don't seem to mind either. Service for activities on beach friendly & helpful. We actually did timeshare presentation and took kids. Had a great meal, enjoyed presentation (they serve you drinks, gave us $200.00 "hotel cash" we used for room charges). It took about 3 hours, BUT we used this time to get info on local attractions/restaurants/etc. So we had a plan for the rest of our visit!! Never thought I would do a time share presentation but it really worked to our advantage!! Also were able to get FREE jungle tour for all 5, CASH money for ferry to Isla Mujures. Just have a plan and use presentation to your advantage! Rooms beautiful, spacious. Maid service excellent, evening turn down, chocolates on pillow, slippers out for you, fresh ice in bucket, what more can you ask for. Great location; short walk to shopping, dining, evening activities. Located in the heart of it all! Stroll through the area and you find the best taco stands! Never had to open a door to leave hotel, or open a door to come in. Would definitely stay here

My wife and I just got back from celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary and we picked the perfect hotel. Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach was wonderful. The rooms were very spacious, clean and had all the amenities expected for a high end hotel like this. The views of the ocean/beach were great. We really liked how they take care of their beach, it was large and so nice. Unlike other hotels I have stayed in cancun, this one has a large beach on the calm side of cancun where you can actually get in the water, its like a pool in the ocean. But stay away from everyone trying to give you a "free" dinner or tour, they are actually trying to sell you into going on a 2 hour time share. We didnt fall for it, but I know alot of others did. Dont do it, they will scam you. This was even tried at our hotel, but not much.
