We stayed in a one bedroom suite with living room and full kitchen. Our room was beautiful and very clean! The oceanfront balconies are very private and are the best! The hotel staff were very friendly! The outdoor pools were spectacular and the pool lounge chairs were the best! I would highly recommend this hotel, we could not have had a better time! Our children were not with us but they would have loved this hotel. So, great for couples and families.
Ocean Beach Snub, poor value!

Ocean Beach Club markets itself as a hotel, but it is in fact, a timeshare. Has fewer amenities and less service than a hotel of a comparable price.
The unit was very small and cramped with barely enough room to walk around because the queen bed took up much of the room. The bathroom was so narrow that the door got in the way of the sink. The parking garage was not attached to the building.
No on-demand cable. No Wifi.
No closet. No laundry bags.
No full-length mirror in the entire unit.
No complimentary breakfast.
Advertised express check-out service, but it was not available. Got a jarring call from the business office at around 9:30 to ensure we were readying to check out. Check-out time was earlier than most hotels at 10:00am, so the check-out line was long with many guests trying to check out at the same time.... Could not get out of there fast enough!
Then, if that wasn't enough, we were accosted by an aggressive Ocean Beach Club timeshare representative in front of a nearby hotel restaurant who would not take "No thanks" for an answer as she tried desperately to persuade us to listen to more of her sales pitch.

The Hotel was very nice. The concierge very friendly. The front desk staff very friendly. The room was very nice & everything was very clean. Now as far as the bed is concerned I don't believe that was a queen size bed. The bed was too small My husband is 6'4" and we were very uncomfortable in the bed. The temperature could never be adjusted properly the room was either too hot or to cold. A suite as nice as this one and this is supposed a time share owned property they can do a little better. With all that said I might stay again in the summer, but I'd have to see the size of the bed first. Although we did stay in the winter they had no restaurant no continental breakfast to offer . What they did have was packaged danishes & coffee from a thermos and they charged too much money for that. I was told that in the coffee area they just don't go all out in the winter. There aren't enough guests? Also the pool was not in use we were told we could go down to the Hilton two hotels down to swim in their pool . The only problem with that was it was 28 degrees outside so no swimming for us. All & All it was not a bad stay.

I almost didn't book the hotel because of some of the negative reviews. I am so glad I didn't listen to those people. We were greeted by a great staff of enthusiastic people and our room was perfect. The location is perfect if like the beach and want to be near the action.
Unsatisfactory stay.

After having paid for our room online , we were charged again at checkout. We had to stand around the lobby for over an hour while the asst. manager looked and looked for the computer trail. We finally gave him our password so he could check our Travelocity account and things were cleared up...but only after taking another 20 minutes to verify our account! Besides the disorganization behind the registration desk, the property had another problem...room design. We stayed in one of their "studio rooms," which turned out to be the lockout bedroom for a one-bedroom suite. It was cramped. But the worst part was that our bedroom window looked out over the balcony of the suite to our left and the room to our right had a window overlooking OUR balcony. I never felt as if I had enough privacy. That was a major flaw in design, and I heard several shocked people complaining about it to the management. Also, there was daily pressure to listen to their time-share spiel. The pool area, however, was very nice. Three small walk-in pools, one indoor/outdoor, made for varied and comfortable lounging. The hotel's location right on the boardwalk was great. But, if I were going back, I'd skip it and stay at the Hilton instead.
