Authentic Arabic Culture with 5 Stars

The Kasbah Hotel is a beautiful property. Featuring large rooms with all modern conveniences, it still maintains an arabic charm as well as decor. The service, the food, and the facilities are all outstanding. With its convenient location adjacent to the medina, its a wonderful retreat from the heat and hastle of the nearby souqs. The pool is beautiful!
Unlike many Tunisian cities where French is the seond language, English is widely spoken and understood in the hotel. The flat screen TVs carry one English channel, the BBC.
On the downside, the Kasbah caters primarily to large tour groups staying only overnight. Avoid early breakfasts, as the tour buses leave around 8 a.m. and the restaurant is packed. Another negative is the 4:30 a.m. call-to-prayer, but with hundreds of mosques with PA systems, sleeping uninterrupted is not possible.
