Great Vacation Spot

We just returned to the States after staying at the Rui Palace Mexico. The all-inclusive is worth every penny my friends and they even kept our room refrigerator full during our stay. The service was as high class as the hotel. We were treated well during our stay by all the staff. It is obvious that top notch service is extremely important to Rui. The food was great and the entertainment at night in the courtyard was wonderful. The wait staff made sure that our drinks were always full and were always more then willing to take our picture when asked.

Our fourth visit to the Riu Palace Mexico. We were there during Hurricane Wilma and were so impressed with the care from the staff. The food is great at the buffet and the specialty restaurants. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The beach is the best in Playacar. We would recommend it to anyone and plan to go back in '07.

This was my second year there. People were great, as well as beach and weather. 50% of our group of six got sick. Something wrong here. Talked with others with same problem. First floor rooms were musty and moldly smelling. Beds not comfortable. Food sanitation needs improvement as well as smelly rooms on first floor. It would also be nice for a rest room to be closer to the beach than the El Patio. Not a 4 star in my estimation. Would go back though.
Honeymoon in Mexico

We went to the Riu for our honeymoon. We had a fantastic time. The service was great, rooms were immaculate, we loved the food and we were catered to the whole week! We plan to revisit for our anniversary.

My friend and I stayed at Riu Palace 11/28/06-12/03/06. Let me say that this was the best trip I've ever taken. Ok I exceeded the maximum words when I first wrote this b/c I had so many good things to say. Bottom line: gorgeous rooms, delicious food, beautiful beach, awesome night life. The best trip ever and best place I've ever stayed. Please email me if you have other questions and/or concerns.
