Best Things Nearby:
Easy walking distance to town. Great crafts market just down the hill. Close to marina.

Best Things About the Resort:
New resort with very comfortable, nice rooms; five pools, one of which is adults only; staff very friendly.

Resort Experience:
Very beautiful resort with pools and waterways in the center. Has the feel of an old European town. Rooms are plush, with beautiful wood, marble, and stone. Balconies with every room. Every room has ocean view; you can hear waves crashing at night. Every morning, there were lawnmowers - so unpleasant to have morning coffee on the balcony, just too noisy .I could have mowed all the grass they had in one morning. Pool area gets very loud in the afternoon when drunk volleyball starts with happy hour (two-for-one drinks). Great spa and gym, easy to make appointment or drop in. Two restaurants with good food, but not a very big menu. Most of the evenings, we had to call to have the futon made up - the maids didn't remember. One night they had to send security man because all the other staff had left.

Best Things Nearby:
The Mexican Fiesta at the Solmar Suites and the Marina.

Best Things About the Resort:
Awesome accommodations, great gym. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the equipment we needed.

Resort Experience:
The resort is amazing. The employees are all very helpful. The Mexican fiesta at the Solmar suites next door was great. Although you can't swim in the Pacific at the resort, the walk on the beach were great. You can even get to Lovers Beach by climbing over a rock formation. A local was there, showing us the way. It was easy to get to and from the resort on foot. The marina walkway is close by and can take you all over the city. They are currently building a new section called the Ridge. The construction noise was not affecting us. The timeshare presentation was good, and they were not pressuring us to buy. A great resort overall.

Best Things Nearby:
Private beach with no vendors. Plenty of shopping and restaurants.

Best Things About the Resort:
Private beach, no vendors. Five pools. Privacy.

Resort Experience:
The resort is very colorful. They have been developing the resort for the past five years and it had truly become vibrant. Visitors complained about the noise of the construction. They just don't realize that most of the resort is built by hand and the workers work long hours. But now the resort is complete.

The rooms are filled with marble. You definitely have enough bathrooms in a room. A one-bedroom suite has two bathrooms and a three-bedroom suite has three. Wonderful bathtubs if you want to soak. A small kitchen complete with pots, pans and dishes. TV's in all rooms with cable. Most of all you can sleep with the sliding glass doors open if you want a breeze and fresh air.

Best Things Nearby:
The scenery, the restaurants, the spa, and the Cabo Coffee Shop.

Best Things About the Resort:
The employees try to be helpful when you have any problems or questions.

Resort Experience:
There are different types of stone throughout the resort which looks nice, but this stone can be hard on your back if you have any problems walking. My sister and I stayed in a one-bedroom unit. The resort does not supply coffee in your room. The resort does have a beautiful spa located on the property.

fishing, scuba diving, watersports, and nearby shopping.

Best Things About the Resort:
Quiet yet romantic; great sunsets and romantic walks on the beach.

Resort Experience:
My husband and I spent a week in Cabo at the Playa Grande Resort. The facilities at this timeshare are wonderful. They have a huge pool, with a swim-up bar and a great location for the jacuzzi, just steps away and with the beautiful sunsets from the beach! The beach there by the Playa Grande you cannot swim in, but there are nearby beaches, but the timeshare is well worth it. They also have a great restaurant with really delicious foods. We had the lobster, which was one of the best I have ever had, for a moderate price. We were in a one-bedroom/one-bath unit, and it was very nice. It faced the pool area and had a patio also. This timeshare housed mostly adults, which made it very quiet and relaxing. They had a little percussion band playing most of the day, and from the poolside/patio area, you could order drinks and food from the bar and charge it to your room.

Just on the other side of the jacuzzi was a walkway where we went to see the sunsets, and an area with tables and chairs there also and a brick wall on which to sit with your honey.

There are lots of activities in Cabo. The jewelry shops with all of that silver were hot spots for me, and I came home with lots of new silver jewelry. We took scuba diving lessons where we could absorb all of the beautiful underwater scenery.

We went out and rented waverunners and rode them into the Sea of Cortez out to the famous arc for which Cabo is known worldwide. We took a romantic sunset sail around the area, and came back to dine at the beach at this great restaurant that was recommended to us by the locals.

We will be returning there next April to enjoy another week of relaxation.
