"The hotel was good for price. Service was good. The food varied from resturant to resturant. The best breakfast is in the Paradise resturant. You can utilize the resturants and facilties of the sister resort next door. They have top shelf liquor in the cabinets, you have to ask for it. The staff is very nice. The pool activites were fun. Not many people showed for the nightly shows. I stayed away from teh beach lots of vendors try to sell items. It was hard to relax on the beach."

My girlfriend & I just got back from a 5-night stay here. We had nothing really bad to say. We had great service. Food was ok for breakfast/lunch/snacks. Dinner in dining room was good. DO NOT PAY FOR SHUTTLE SERVICE ($48). It's a $5 cab ride from the airport. We'd stay here again, if we go back to PV.
Would definitely return!

The rooms were clean and all seemed to have great view. I felt very safe, the hotel staff was great, very helpful, the restaurant staff was poor on three separate visits, but easy to find other restaurants in the resort that were wonderful. The beach, pools and cabanas were great. The vendors at the beach were annoying. We were approached over 50 times in three hours but we had fun keeping track! Great drinks and very good food!

Bad - The time/share people at the resort told us that rival time/share picking us up were going to leave us for dead. We worried in the Taxi. Good - Tequila pool volleyball, canopy ride 550 ft above the jungle floor, city tour opened our eyes to the conditiions outside US, learning to make/drink premium 100% Pure Agave tequila, hospitality resort staff, SPANISH COFFEE (gotta try) and A.Y.C.E. & DRINK = our best vactation ever. WE'LL RETURN TO PV & Crown in the future.

If your looking for a moderate level hotel with great rates this is the place for you. Everything was clean, the room was great, (yes, the beds are hard) and all our needs were met. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. We had a great time and will definitily be back. We loved the pool, the food was good and we had plenty of selection between the resort & sister resort restaurants. Location is great with easy access to the port, buses and taxis.
