I booked this brand new hotel for two families with a total of 7 children. Front desk would only give us two keys per room, even when I asked for more.
Children were swimming and staff proceeded to yell at them for jumping into the deep end of the pool. No signs were posted except "no diving."
Children went into the hot tub and were yelled at for being too young for the hot tub. The hot tub sign said no children less than 8 years old. All of the children in the hot tub at that time were older than 8.
It appears our families were picked on for what other children were doing.
Why does the pool have a key card reader when the door is unlocked 100% of the time? Where is the safety in that?
Finally, the pull-out sofa sleeper did not have a mattress pad. Disgusting. When I called the front desk, I was told "we don't use mattress pads." YUCK!

We were just staying in town for one night , midweek offseason. I mentioned several options for a disounted rate and the front desk and The clerk offered us an upgraded room at the lowest rate. Don't expect this during the summer months. We really enjoyed our stay with an attentive staff and clean new facilities. The oversized separate room for breakfast was beautifully, seasonally decorated, fully stocked and constantly monitered, to make certain that every guest was satisfied, we decided to enjoy the pool and hot tub and waterslide!!!! I also looked in on the exercise falcility and even shot some hoops on their full court basketball court, I had such a wonderful experience, that I told the manager.( I am the first to complain, i also want to compliment when it is earned) He gave me his card after some small talk and told me to be sure to let me know when I am returning. He will take care of me. What a nice thing to say. I will return.

Although this hotel has seen better days, the accommodations were good and offered quite a few restaurants on site with a nice variety. I would say the best part of the hotel is the gym and the separate men’s and women’s steam room/sauna facilities. Massages are also offered on site and very reasonable. The Brazilians really know how to relax!
