Hesperia THE place to stay in Cordoba!

Our room overlooked the old city so we had a view of the Mezquita and the Roman bridge, which was just a short walk-5-10 minutes into the old city. The room had lovely decoration, comfortable beds (though you get twin beds, not a matrimonio by booking online). Inexpensive in July, b/c Cordoba is very HOT, but the hotel has good A/C. The bar had very good sandwiches and coffee service and a great staff person. The staff at the front desk were not overly friendly but were very professional. Car parking was easy. I can't emphasize enough the GREAT location. Inside the city using a car is impossible. This was also very easy to find, modern, comfortable, and pretty. And what a view! (Looked like it had a lovely pool but we did not use it.) Very good value.
