Good experience all in all

Perfect location in Old City, close to port, main attractions and museums, as well as mass transit. Rooms have been recently renovated, so it looked and felt good. Good AC unit (a rarity someplaces in Europe). Front desk not very friendly and phone in the room didn't have any instructions on how to reach either operator or reception. Hotel ran out of face/hand towels and dotted us with not very white bath towels instead.

"Very Nice Hotel, but watch location"

This is a beautiful hotel with gorgeous rooms and grounds. The only drawback is the location which is more on the outskirts of town (near airport if you like this) and you must take the subway or taxi to get into the city ceter or beach.

A country resort in the city! This hotel is all it promises. Wonderful public spaces, modern accommodations, and a terrific gym and swimming pool.

I found that the hotel was great in every sense (room, service, and facilities), and if I ever come back to Barcelona, I would definitely repeat the experience.

The hotel was one of the best I've stayed in. My husband's company booked it for us, as he was traveling on business.

The hotel was not in the city center, but it was very near a convenient metro stop. Our room was fairly big (by European standards), with a double bed, small sofa, desk, refridgerator, and a beautiful bathroom with both a bathtub and a separate shower stall. The view from our huge window was amazing as well. You could see most of the city, and the Mediteranean Sea off in the distance. The room also included a fairly large breakfast buffet. The hotel has several bars and restaurants on-site and a very accommodating staff.
