My husband and I travelled with our 3 young daughters for 7 days and had a great time! Highly recommend staying at this hotel. When we first arrived we got a first floor room and requested a room with more of a Ocean view which they quickly got for us. The kitchens are very useful especially with small children. There is a small market across the street which you can pick up a few items to keep in your room. When you go walking past the hotel your constantly confronted with alot of people wanting to sell you day trips which I DO NOT RECOMMEND DOING!!!. We met a very wonderful couple who were staying at Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay and they reserved a day trip off site and were never picked up! We booked through Travel agency the day trip to Concordia, the Tequila tour and the Mariachi show which was wonderful! These day trips were small and private compared to the large bus loads we saw. The staff at the hotel were wonderful! They even escorted my husband to the market so he wouldnt be bothered by the people trying to sell him those day trips. I highly recommend that you take advantage of the free trip to Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay. They will give you a free breakfast after you view the hotel, then they will try to sell you a time share which you just have to say No if not intrested. They gave us a $200 credit which we definitely used. At the end of all the drinks and food in the room that we ate we only paid $40.

My lady and I were very mucn in need of peace and serenity, and Pueblo Bonito more than fit the bill. The staff was excellent, and there were all kinds of places to go and things to do close by. We are already planing our return trip for next year and would think of staying no placae else other thatn Pueblo Bonito. Thank you for the week of rejuvenation and relaxation.

Mazatlan in February

We were at this hotel in February before Spring Break, and enjoyed a quiet, relaxing and romantic week. The rooms were cleaned daily, if you had a Do Not Disturb sign out they called later in the day asking when and if you would like your room cleaned. All the staff from maids, front desk, activity coordinators to the wait staff at all three restaurants were excellent. The pool waiters were very attentive and made sure you had what you needed but not pushy. The location was excellent, very clean beach-raked daily, crashing waves outside your room. We had a great view of the ocean and the grounds complete with flamingos. We would certainly stay there again.

Great property for all types of travelers

The property was immaculate and the room was spacious. We had an awesome view of the water, island and every sunset. The staff were very good about assisting with any request immediately. The staff all seem to work together diligently to keep the property beautiful. The health club was clean, had bottled water, towels and full weights and several weight machines. It was two levels with 3 bikes and 2 treadmills and a couple of other things. TVs by this area. No day spa on-site. Massages were available in the health club. But you can take the free shuttle to the Emerald Bay property for full spa activities. The daily breakfast buffet was very complete. But, it seems everyone likes the Sunday Champagne brunch so plan for a possible wait on Sunday if you arrive at t peak time. It was cost effective. Guests of the hotel got a 10% discount card off meals at the hotel restaurants. Brochures and maps from the hotel concierge provides additoinal discount cards at other restaurants. The window seats in the waterside restaurant are terrific to watch the surf while dining. The hotel is right on several bus lines and can take you to downtown Mazatlan for 6 or 8 pesos each depending if you use a green (recommended) or white bus (fine if you're more adventurous). Good thick poolside towels. Although signs are posted to not save chairs for family, people seem to do that anyway, so get there early. We were just two on our anniversary and it was a great place to go, but I would have prefered a king size instead of two doubles in our room. We never asked to change this. Highly recommended!
