Good for the price

This hotel is good if you need to stay near the airport for a long layover or quick business meeting. If you're going to visit madrid and the sights it is not good for that purpose. It is not close to any mass transit. You have to rely only on the shuttle service which is unreliable or taxi which is very expensive. Shuttle service runs only once an hour on the hour, and if it's full you are out of luck until the next shuttle an hour later. Customer service was terrible and I speak Spanish, so it wasn't a language barrier issue. This hotel is not close to anything, not even other restaurants, so if you plan on eating at the on site restaurant be prepared to pay through the nose, the food was great and so was service, but they're the only food around so they can charge whatever.

"I was surprised that the hotel was so far from Madrid as the purpose in going ther was to sightsee in Madrid. Once I found out about the free shuttle bus, though, it was OK. Next time I think I might try the Hard Rock Hotel. Also, for being such a huge hotel I thought it strange that they only had one restaurant and no shop."
