The Luna Palace is just fine.

I read all the reviews before I took my trip and most people slammed the place. They were wrong and need a dose of perspective. The hotel isn't in the US-if you want an American hotel-dandy-JUST STAY HOME! That being said, the Luna was everything I expected and needed. The staff were top notch-they couln't do enough for me. The location is great and they put me in a top floor suite when I paid for a studio. Does the place need a little fixin' up? Like most hotels in Mexico, the folks were working on it. Were there some quirks to my visit? Sure, and I thought it made my stay more fun. For instance, I was at the pool and 3 guys werer crawling around on my balcony. I told security there were guys on my 8th floor balcony-he looked up, saw them, and said that yes, indeed, there were giuys on my balcony. End of story. When it rained pretty good 1 night, my floor had water on it that came under the door. I told the front desk lady, and she said "yes you have water on your floor, it rained last night." End of story. I thought it was quite humorous. The rates are great, the pool is fine, the beach is good, the food fine as well. Lighten up and give the place a try people.

The Luna Palace is horrible! The rooms are ugly and uncomfortable. The bed is on a concrete slab, with no box springs and a hard matress. You'd be better to sleep on the beach! The food was
