The hotel was well located in the Marina district with easy bus access (5.5 pesos) into town. The food exceeded our expectations. Estancia restaurant was recently remodeled and is extremely attractive with excellent buffets nightly. There were several large business groups visiting during our stay which intruded somewhat into the public areas. However, our room was comfortable and quiet. Service was very good. The beaches in this area are not terrific, but there is a nice pool with lots of places to relax in the sun or shade.

This was a beautiful and clean resort! We also visited an all inclusive resort for a wedding while we were in Puerta Vallarta and it was awful. We were treated horrible there and we all got sick after eating in their restaurants. We couldn't wait to get back to our hotel after being there! Beautiful pool, Awesome beach, nice people!

I just returned from a 9-night stay at the CasaMagna. The resort, by far, exceeded all of our expectations! I cannot think of one thing to complain about. The food at the restaurant was great, the view from the resort is beautiful, and everyone who worked there was very friendly. The housekeeping staff did a great job, and our room was always very clean. Also, the hotel has multiple people on duty at the concierge table, and they are helpful when it comes to recommending day trips and recommending restaurants. They made dinner reservations for us on several occasions, and the restaurants they recommended were all nice restaurants that we never would have found on our own. If you are traveling to PV, stay at this resort if at all possible!

Five Day vacation was pretty good

It's a Marriott, so you generally know you'll get a good bed, great service and a good experience. We were not disappointed. However, they are doing construction and I would highly recommend anyone to re-think staying here until they're done if you're looking for a quiet vacation. IT didn't bother us that much but it took a minute to get used to. It was loud. I mean, really, really loud. The coupons they gave us on check in to 'compensate' for our inconvenience were a joke. There were disclaimers all over the place. Tried using it for breakfast in one of the restaurants and told we could only use it for dinner. Tried for lunch somewhere else and told some other ridiculous story. But apart from that, a good experience. Beautiful place, extremely great service, etc.
