Very Clean Hotel , we had a nice view to the pool and the beach
the rooms are very nice, beds are real comfortable, all of the the staff is very attentive and ready to help.
The only thing that bother us was at the airport avoid the counters they are selling time shares, don't waste your time or money.

This is a wonderful hotel in a good location with a friendly, extremely helpful staff. The hotel itself is beautiful and grounds well maintained. The rooms are clean and decorated with modern style and have very comfortable beds. Everyone on staff was courteous and were always happy to help and answer questions. The pool area is vast and beautiful with plenty of chairs and umbrellas for laying out. Hop on the local bus about a block or two away to ride downtown for great meals and shopping.

The hotel is beautiful and the pool is great. The pool had lots of chairs and free books to read. Food and drinks by the pool were excellent. The beach was very clean. The buffet breakfast was really good, if a little expensive. The Japanese restaurant was good and the tappenyakki staff was great. Overall I thought the prices were very reasonable. If you want a great dinner for cheap, walk to the marina (5 minutes). We really enjoyed Gilligans Sports Bar. The food took a while (they said that everything is made to order) but it was really good and extremely cheap! The marina is beautiful and has lots of shops and places to buy tequilla and beer. At the airport skip the counters (they are giving you free stuff to listen to time shares) and go straight for the yellow taxis. There are taxis all over Puerta Vallarta and they are cheap. Make sure to agree to a price when you get in, it was 80 pesos into town, but I heard that you could talk them down. I am planning on going back in the fall!

From the initial walk up the center lobby to the welcoming view of the pool area, we knew we made a great choice with the Casa Magna Marriott. No, our room was not ready. We had heard that frequently happens. The front desk said we could have a garden room that was open and would we like to see it, or we could wait for an ocean view room that would be ready in about two hours. We said sure, we would take a look at the garden room and followed a bell man to inspect the room. Nothing was wrong with the room, but we decided to wait for the ocean view room. Boy are we glad we did! The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the evening turn down service was much appreciated. The staff was always pleasant and friendly and willing to answer our questions. We grabbed sandwiches from Mango's Deli and they were delicious and not expensive. And every morning at 7:00, I would go down and get the best coffee from Mango's. Location was great - we were near the marina and went there for dinner. Also, you could quickly hop the bus just a block away for a visit to the Malecon.
