Nice Hotel

My girlfriends and I stayed at this hotel to celebrate my b-day. The hotel was very clean and modern. We enjoyed daily free breakfast. The breakfast was delicious. Made to order omelettes, pancakes and the coffee was the best! The restaurant staff was very friendly. Ask for X or X at the bar. The front desk staff could have been nicer. We arrived early and our room was not available as check in time is at 3pm. We asked the lady at the front desk to direct us on the map where we were at , and where would be a good place to eat. she looked annoyed at told us to go into the restaurant in the hotel to eat. The hotel has a big pool, towel service, gym, two restaurants and a kiddie playground. The beach is right behind the hotel and the layout is beautiful. My girlfriends treated me to a massage on the beach which was very relaxing. Ask the front desk for the massage services. We stayed at a doulble occupany room. The room was very clean and modern. We had to ask the front desk for a iron and towels which they provided quickly. The hotel is four floors and there is no elevator. This hotel is located at the end of the strip. the bus is right in front of the hotel. Definetly check out Congo Bongo!! Its a club/show, we had a blast!! We would stay at this hotel again.

I booked this place based on the reviews and ocation. The beach is the best, they keep it clean daily. the one in front of O.V., two buildings down looks like an ash tray. The grounds are very clean and the room was clean.
However, the shower door leaked, so I had to keep a towel there or water would run all the way out to the bed. The shower control would fall out of place(therefore, no warm water) without tying it up with string.
They charged as much for a tub of ice as the market charged for 6kgs. The laundry cost 60 pesos ofr on round. I tipped the waiter the first day at breakfast and got no service the next day. Tips made no difference on service. The doors(adjoining and outside) are wafer thin so you get to hear every little thing going on nearby. One night it's a drunken quarrel or door slam, the next something else you don't want to hear(I'm omitting the details, too disgusting).
Then the rain set in. Three days with no sun, another two with very little and high wind(no beach). I was ready to leave after the third day of rain.
At the same time, a bunch of loud partyers moved in nearby. So no sleep either. One night the cops came, then left, then the party resumed. Hooray! This went on till I've never been so happy to get away.
Front desk didn't want to give me a reciept for my stay because they didn't want me requestng a refund, no doubt. They at first gave me one showing my original check-out date until I called them on it. They were being intentionally deceitful.
Timeshares were also being pushed with or without the man. knowledge, I'm not sure.
Will definately go back.

We were a group of 4 adults. We went to celebrate new years and couldn't have been happier. The price was right, and the location was good. \
We stayed in a one bedroom villa. This gave us plenty of room to spread out, without being on top of one another. The pull out bed wasn't too comfortable, but after we called about it, the hotel promptly came and added a foam mattress (we were happy after that). We needed a cot, and they delivered a cot. The maid service did a good job cleaning. And the grounds were neat and orderly. We really couldn't have asked for much more.
For those active groups, like us, be aware that at the hotel there isn't much going on. BUT it is located withing walking distance of almost everything that you would want to do (day or night). The beach is nice, big, and usable. Especially when compared to the condition of the beach outside of the other resorts. And remember, all of the beaches are connected.... so we enjoyed walking down the beach in both directions.
The front desk... well, we didn't find the front desk to be of too much help to us. Like most people we arrived at 11:30am and outside of holding our luggage, we were a bit annoyed because they refused to let us check in early, even though the room was ready. But hey, at least they weren't rude.
But again, for the price it was WELL worth it. We will definitely stay there again.

My husband and I just returned. The hotel was fantastic; the breakfast and the food at the bar was awesome and I'm a foodie. Staff was so friendly and when you tipped you really got special treatment. X at the concierge was honest and reliable -- never tried to upsell us and arranged for all our side trips including a car rental which we got charged only one day for even though we had the car for two. The only drawback was the front desk. Check in time was 3:00 and we arrived at 11:30 a.m. and they were not accomodating until I asked for the manager who tried to charge us extra per day to get us in a room right away. The room was spotless and the maid service superb. No timeshare hassles. The hotel was in a convenient location to everything. Learned to use the buses which just zipped through. What a fantastic time. Will be going back again.

me and my bofriend had never been to cancun but had traveled other places in the mediter. and this was a great "bang for your buck" everything was very clean, no bugs. the beach was beautiful. the buffet breakfast was great! def get the omlet w/ everything! dinner was overall good for the price (2 dinners with 2drinks and dessert for $35-50 combined!) i would def go back. i would reccomend getting bottled water from the rest. at every meal because you will dehydrate quick in the sun!! and the water is cheap!!
