Amazing Vacation

We had a wonderful trip to the beautiful town of Mazatlan. It couldn't have been more perfect. The staff was wonderful, the view was spectacular and the pools were incredible. I can't tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. The staff was very helpful and patient with our lack of Spanish. We loved being waited on poolside. The grounds were beautiful. We were there during the slow season, so it was like having the whole place to ourselves most of the time. We had a terrific time. The timeshare sales staff we had been warned about were very nice and helped us with excursions even though we didn't buy and weren't ineterested. Our favorite excursion was the Zip line adventure. It was great! Everyone should try it. It was very safe. The bus to downtown was prompt and very helpful when it came to visiting the many wonderful restaurants in the "Gold Zone" or downtown. We loved "Pancho's" on the beach. The hotel restaurant was good, however ,the romantic singer, while a perfectly good singer, was too loud and not our favorite part of the trip. The food was very good. We did not use the fitness facility due to a $10.00 charge per use for hotel guests.

I have been to mazatlan before but always stayed with family. This time it was different we stayed at Pueblo Bonito.. everything about it was great!!!! I loved it.. the only complaint I have would be that it is soo far from the Malecon. Its not hard to get there but I am use to being a walk away from where everything is... besides that I loved this place and will stay there again!!

Excellent Resort

This visit to mazatlan was outstading. Our entire experience was outstanding. Be mindful that if you arrive early, you might have to wait a while for your room, which we had to. They actually took us to our room only to find it dirty. So we had to wait an hour before we could get our room, but that didnt ruin our experience with Pueblo Bonito. Yes, it is kind of secluded, but they have a free shuttle that takes you to the city every half hour on the hour. Also be sure to know what the beach flag warnings are. One Word, Jellyfish! I would recommend this resort and city to everyone I know.

EXOTIC GROUNDS AND MEMORABLE PHOTOS

This will be our fifth time visiting in june 2008 at emerald bay and plans for going again in october 2008 each and every time is like the first "takes our breath away" peaceful/quiet with top of the line service!!!!! From the time you come thru the elegant entrance to the drive off going home is an experience you can't forget. Since coiming to emerald bay the staff greets us by name making us feel at home. We read some of the traveler reviews - maybe because we have been there more than once we've learned the in's and out's. Yes, there is only 1 restuarant but there are two deli's fully equipped - even a chef ready to prepare a sandwich, a wrap or a fresh quacamole & chips (which he goes to select there at the produce section of the the deli.) Rooms have kitchenettes fully equipped which you can buy groceries and cook in your room. We love eating breakfast overlooking the ocean "al fresco" listening to the waves "such a wonderful way to start your morning". We have on several occasions placed special dinner orders and each and every]time the chef has prepared exactly what we wanted - even when not on the menu. We also enjoyed the mediteranean dinners they had out by the poolside watching the sunset. That night I felt like a salad, steak and baked potatoe and kevin just wanted a hamburger ( the menu was seafood and veal) and the chef prepared our meal exactly to our liking "that was the moment that kevin realized that he would be returning again because the service that we are always given "is but the utmost best". Don't leave without getting a spa treatment! Try the couples spa! Take the city tour - enjoyable!
