GREAT HOTEL

My husband & I are in our 20's we stayed at this hotel for 5 days. We stayed in the junior suite and it was great, the room was really nice, our balcony views were expactacular. The swimming pools were really clean, but the beach was not so clean. Our package included free breakfast (the food was so good, anything you really want). The hotel employees were really freindly and they do anything they can to make everything good while you're there. We got some trips to the city tour which was "ok". Then we got one for the grand mayan place (which really sucked, they talk to you for like 2 hrs about time shares and the people are really stubbern, but after that then you can get in the 1 mile pool and go horse riding( that was nice). Our hotel location was great for us because everything was close by, we just had to walk most of the time instead of catching a cab.

This is very much a family oriented hotel , providing affordable accomodations and lovely poolside activities for all. The unit we stayed in was a one bedroom suite, with a galley kitchen, living room flatscreen TV , large bedroom w/TV and two small terraces with views of the bay. And although it's a great place for families, it also has pool space that's a bit more private for couples. Great location too, within walking to almost everything.

Best vacation Ever

This was honestly one of the best times of my life...the hotel was perfect; steps right to the beach and pool, room service is great as well (i wanted a pizza at 1am and roomservice opened the kitchen just for us....pizza was great by the way) Location of the hotel was perfect; clubs, restaurants and activities close by. Only thing that was pretty annoying was the vendors on the beach but hey this happens where ever you go, people need their money so cope with it, either buy something or smile and say no so you could move on with your day. HOTEL was great and made my vacation even better....Thanks Fiesta you'll see us AGAIN!!!

Hotel was clean and staff very friendly. Located within walking distance of many stores and some shopping, to include a McDonalds and Subway for cheap snacks instead of the high priced food surrounding the hotel. Very accomodating staff and would highly recommend this hotel. Avoid the beach however in midday. Vendors are so dense you hardly have space to relax!

THIEVES!! Stay far away from here!!!!!

Pathetic and unreliable, incompetent service. The security of this hotel is aggressively nasty. They require that all guests wear a wrist bracelet as you would at the local state fair. If not, you might be escorted to the door even with your belongings in your room. Pool security is in cahoots with the local police to have certain guests on the beach targeted for extortion. Instead of the local people being appreciative of US tourism, they are targeting us tourists for money extortion. Way too much corruption at this hotel. The local ATM machine in the lobby owned by Banamex erroneously advised me that I had exceeded my daily withdrawl limit (not true) and then deducted $300 from my account without notifying me or giving me cash. My bank is assisting me with the dispute and the hotel takes no ownership nor shows any concern for The guests by even putting an "out of order" notice on the ATM. This hotel uses a swamp cooler instead of air conditioner so all your money, papers and clothes feel like they have been floating in water at the end of the day with the mell of mold. Do not stay here. Do not go to Acapulco! There are literally police every 20 feet outside with shot guns. It's like being in the middle of a warzone- I was appauled at what I saw and how uncomfortable I felt not to mention the desperate, thieves lurking around waiting to robb you of your last dime.. including the police. And they don't care. Their attitude is "to hell with you, we don't need you- we do things OUR way". I have been to Acapulco 11 times and stayed at Fiesta Americana 8 of the 11 times. It's not the same anymore. Go to Rio de Janeiro!
