Great location! Lots of things to do with in walking distance. Rooms were smaller than what you are accustomed too in the US but it was modern and very clean. The staff was also very helpful.

Within walking distance of good food, shopping, sight-seeing, and the metro. The rooms and hotel are pretty nice. Highly recommended for a first-time tourist.

Rooms clean, staff helpful, free internet access in lobby for guest BUT matresses were very firm, too firm for this traveler. Great buffet restrauant to the west about two blocks on Bolivia called "El Campriano"-ate both breakfast & dinner It was excellent!!! Took many bus trips around Mexico during my 16 day visit and would recommend a two hour bus trip ($9 for 1st class seat) to a small village called Malinalco...very quiet, with a wonderful pyramid site to visit within walking distant to main plaza.

The Holiday Inn Zocalo was perfect for our first trip to Mexico City. The location was right off the main city square, the breakfast buffet overlooking the Zocalo, cathedral, and parliament was incredible, and the staff was great. We arrived after a redeye flight at 5:45 am and were able to check in that morning for a much needed nap. Definately recommended.
