Clean, comfortable room, if a bit on the small side. Excellent concierge and touring services that really helped make trips around the city easy and worry free. 6th floor bar and restaurant has an excellent view of the Zocalo, but go for drinks and the view only, the food is just okay and there are plenty of better options within a block or two from the hotel. I would be happy to stay here again.

Amazing for the money

I was impressed immediately with the room. Modest but immaculate. When the wi-fi went down one evening, someone came immediately and fixed the problem within minutes. J L was especially helpful and very friendly. He was able to get tickets to a performance at the Bellas Artes at the last minute, even went to pick up the tickets. The rooftop restaurant had a breakfast buffet with a great variety of fresh fruit. I will definitely stay at this hotel again. My room overlooked Cinco de Mayo so there was no problem with noise in the evening. The only downside was the staff BEHIND the front desk. Had to deal with "attitude" constantly. The hotel needs to address this problem. Everyone else was great.

Excellent!!

This hotel was wonderful. It is located in an area where you can go out all day and always have something to do. The Zoocalo can get a little loud at night depending on what is going on but if you are in the right part you can look out you window and watch. The restuarant is magnificent. I ate the spegehtti alfredo and fettecuine alfredo both and they were the best meals I had ever had in my life no joke!! The chef salads are supposed to be great and basically the rest of the food too. All of the staff was nice, and everything was kept clean and resupplied. The bathtubs are a little old school but it all fit together to make an old nice country style. It is a very beautiful hotel on the inside, the beds are hard but that is Mexico for you and no air condition but on my thirteen day stay out of five hotels only the five star resort in Acapulco had air condition so that is normal. All in all I would go back just to have the spegehtti and fettecuine!!

We'd stay there again

Our stay at this motel was very pleasant. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Did not dine in--prices were quite high.

This a beautiful hotel located half a block from the Zocalo. The personnel is wonderful and very helpful. They will do anything to meet your needs. They provide you with clean drinking water all the time. If you need anything in your room, they'll get it to you right away. Their restaurant has a great view of the Zocalo and very good food for affordable prices. The personnel very friendly as everybody else in the hotel. It is worth trying, its close to everything. Walking distance from Bellas Artes y la Alameda Central, el Zocalo, la Casa de los azulejos, Tenochtitlan, la Catedral, Palacio Nacional, etc. Very clean and with AC. It was a great choice for us.
