No Hot Water

I stayed at this hotel with my son, and we got up on Sunday morning to find we had no hot water. Obviously, many people were complaining about it because there was a gentleman at the front desk with a large party complaining about it when I checked out. The room cost me $130 for one night, which isn't bad for a suite, and I don't expect much out of a hotel, but for $130, I do expect hot water. I stay in the Northern VA area overnight from time to time, but this was my last night at this hotel!

We only needed to stay one night as the next couple of nights we were staying with friends. My husband & I were both pleasantly surprised when we saw all the amenities & the cleanliness of the hotel. It was a chilly evening when we arrived and the fireplace was the first thing I noticed upon entering the lobby. That alone made it warm & inviting. The staff was friendly & curteous & gave us the needed directions for getting to our restaurant that night. When we returned around 11:30 PM the front door was locked & guests needed to ring a bell to have someone open the entry doors giving us a secure feeling. We did not have a chance to use the pool but that certainly looked nice & clean. Our room had a sitting area with it's own TV and the mini fridge came in handy. The bed was comfy and once again there was a TV. The bathroom was clean & decent sized. Breakfast in the AM was served longer than normal times offered by other B&B's & we were very surprised at the items offered for free. Cereal, eggs, toast, bagels, juices, coffee, etc. Very nice! And the nicest thing of all was the price! I'm not really sure how they can offer all they do at that price! We gave a brochure to our friends so they would be able to tell other friends/family of a great place to stay without breaking the bank!

Aside from the hole in the bathroom door, the suite was exceptionally clean (haven't seen this in a long time) and I loved the room set-up. Staff was courteous and nice.

This fine five star hotel has Airconditioning,frigobar,
telephone,tv,bar and restuarant.
It has a sauna, pool and gymnasium too.
It is quite affordable especially due to the rate of dollar to the Brazilian Real.
It is located in the center of the city.
