It is not a resort
It is totally dead
It is energy and environmentally efficent by means of not washing or not cleaning your room and all the hotel for every three days hotel stay to save on water and less detergent and electricty!
It doesn't have WiFi in the rooms
The only hotel grounds is a very small pool where you can not eat nor drink and is closed at 7:00PM
The worst but best week ever!!

The hotel staff were great, the hotel was not like the pictures. Hotel on the Monday, before we left they started replacing the carpet in the main hall. We had to switches room because the toliet pipes bursted all over me and we had water all in the room. The hotel did offer us free drinks and gave us a new room. I think they could have bought our dinner and drinks for the rest of the time we were there. But they didn't, next time I will book the Hilton right next door. Their access to the beach was public and it was sort of crappy. As for the rest of the hotel,; the outside was beautiful, but they really should upgrade the hotel. The noise level from the club wasn't super loud, but if you want to rest don't stay here on the weekend. The rooms are not like the picture, they are very old and it reminds me of a motel. The cost of room service was ridcilous and I over tipped. The worst part was the toliet pipes bursting in my face, just from flushing the toliet. It was the best week, because I was in PR!!! WOW!!

my friend and i came to the normandie for spring break last march (2008) the people are soooo nice and the hotel is in an awesome spot for cab rides to old san juan (only 5 per person) it's reallly clean but the one thing we did notice is it was empty... i only saw maybe 15 other people inside the hotel for the whole week.. but really this is a nice place!

HOTEL WAS DIRTY, NASTY!
No one stays at this hotel....its like a ghost ship. The staff is rude the pool is gross and the private beach they speak of is a public beach for all of san juan. My boyfriend and I caught a man showering in his jeans just down the side. The rooms were damp and i caught a cold there its just nasy. I took pics as well if anyone would like to see.
Please be aware!
We spent most of are time at Caribe Hilton! It was great had everything in its resort. Travelocity as well should be ashamed of themselves for doing business with such a hotel. I will never again book anything through this online travel website again.
They did nothing to help us!

This hotel is located steps from the beach GREAT LOCATION!!! Most evenings something was planned by the hotel for entertainment without having to go out. The staff was friendly & helpful with the exception of the girl working the front desk she needs to work on how to welcome guest with a smile and she had the same attitude when guest were checking out. This is a BEAUTIFUL Island with so much to see and do. I recommend to walk and see the sights there is so much you will miss if you take a cab or drive to your destination.
