Perfect!!

I think many people wonder about this hotel.. I was feeling the same before I went there. As I experienced this hotel, this is the best hotel that I have ever been. "The best" means great quality with great price. Of course, expensive hotel can be one of bests. But it was similar quality with others. I stayed one night at venetian hotel which is almost three times expense than trump. It was similar quality and I rather say trump was better in the way of cooking something and storing drinks and so on. Location was little weird at first. But you will like it when you get used to it. It provides good timing to talk to someone while walking. 5-10mins to main strip.. close enough. I will go back again if I have another chance to go. You will enjoy it if you choose this hotel for sure!!!

I HEART THE TRUMP

The Trump Hotel made my Vegas experience a great one. I was there for 4 days for my bachelorette party. It does not have a casino and is entirely non-smoking which I why we chose it. It was a great place to come back to and relax after 10 hours of drinking and partying. If you're big on gambling and smoking, I obviously wouldn't recommend it. It's also directly across the street from the Fashion Show Mall. The Nordstroms entrance is feet away from the hotel lobby and was the best part of the location. It's also located a block or two west of the strip, so you don't have random people constantly walking past your hotel. The staff was more than accomodating to all of our random requests (including massive amounts of water bottles everytime I passed the check-in desk). Drunk and dehydrated, I always asked "Can I have like 10 water bottles right now?". They smiled and accomodated me every time. Also, their car service is excellent. Just tell the concierge you need a ride to wherever and the 2009 Navigator is ready and waiting faster than you can say "valet". It probably didn't hurt that we were 8 gorgeous 20-somethings, which is why I'm guessing we received excellent service. The rooms are great and have a built-in TV in the bathroom mirror. The bathroom is big enough to have 3 or 4 girls in it at once and the massive bathtub and shower are great after a long night. As far as room service goes, I recommend the "Trump American" breakfast--so yummy!!! We also received a great rate on expedia.com ($/night). I definitely recommend this hotel is you need somewhere quiet to pass out after partying like a rockstar.

Flashy, but not Five Star

We liked the location of the hotel. We were able to walk to a number of sites that we wanted to visit, and it's only a couple of blocks from the bus stop. The walk to the strip does not have continuous sidewalks though, so you must walk on the street part of the way (not pleasant). Check in seem to take a long time with only two people at the desk. They were business like, but not what I would call friendly. We did not use the room service, it was very expensive. And they seem to charge for every "extra" service that you might want. The words "for a nominal fee" are repeated too many times in the guest guide in the room. Though there was a complete kitchen in the room, it was not set up for use: no dish cloth or soap, very limited utensils, and there was no table to eat at, only a coffee table or the desk. When we tried to call the 24 hour concierge, we got a message stating that the concierge was not available after 7 pm. The room was very nice, and clean, but the housekeeping was inconsistant, not refilling or replacing items in the room. And it may seem small, but what is with the cheap toilet paper? It is the Trump! The bathroom was spectacular, but the lighting wasn't practical for use at the mirror, too many shadows. And the room seemed quite noisey, especially the trains going by throughout the night. We would stay here again for the location and the price, but I expected to be treated better because I was a guest, not because I was willing to pay "a nominal fee" for better treatment and services. Flashy, but not 5 star.

Trump lacking

A beautiful hotel unfortunately, they need to step up the cleaning service - had to call the maager twice to get the room cleaned properly (replace glasses, dirty coffee maker, no coffee replaced, lack of towels, etc) - felt they really dropped the ball. Happened on more than one day so hopefully isolated to one bad employee.

Great hotel, crappy service...

The hotel is very nice...rooms are big, comfy, nice beds and we had a great view. The service is TERRIBLE minus the bartender who was very friendly. Check in took way too long. There was a line of people waiting to check in and only two people working the desk. When we asked a bellman if he could talk to someone about getting another person to help move things along he literally looked at us and walked away without saying anything. The resort fee is a joke considering it takes 30mins to get your car out of valet and if you call them they won?t even answer the phone. They don?t even include use of the gym in the resort fee, that?s an extra 22.00 dollars. It?s a shame because it is a really nice hotel, smoke free, quiet and close to everything. So if you?re looking for those things then you found the right place. But if you want service with your hotel stay probably not your best choice. Hey Donald Trump, YOU?RE FIRED!
