Not what I expected

I expected this hotel to be a cut above the rest in the true "Don" style, however, was bitterly disappointed in the cleanliness and shoddiness of our suite. We had to call for the maid service and we were over-billed for items we didn't use (water). I will re-think our next trip and maybe go Bellagio.....whaddya think Don?

We had a great experience at the Trump International. The place was spotless and the staff was very professional and courteous. Even the maintenance man asked how our stay was. The rooms were large and very comfortable had great amenities, ie. refrigerator, microwave, blender, toaster etc. Huge bathroom!! The part we like best was that there was no casino attached so when you were ready to leave all the crowds and excitement on the strip, it was nice to go back to a quiet, less crowded environment. It is only one block off the strip and was very close to the some of the better casinos and resorts. We will stay again when we return.

The Trump Hotel is elegant, yet quiet, even the wonderful scent of soft flowers that greets you as you arrive, sets the scene to begin to help you relax after a long day out. The staff help to complete the experience with their professional, yet courtious service.
My sister, niece, her friend, and I stayed at the Trump Hotel for the girls graduation from high school. They are home-school students, so they did not have the same oppurtunity as other students do to take a senior trip. The Trump Hotel is first class all the way, from the flat screen tv in the bathroom, to the plush robes provided. No detail was left out. I have stayed in many hotels during my career, this one has it all, and the price is still affordable!

Just returned from a weekend vacation in Vegas. My girlfriends only complaint was not getting to relax more at the hotel and enjoy the amenities.
We elected to upgrade to a suite upon check-in and weren't disappointed. Beautiful views from the 53rd floor and well appointed furnishings made us feel like high rollers, if only for the weekend.
The location is just far enough off the strip that walking in heels and dress attire for an evening out would not be advisable. That being said, i would have preferred a shuttle or car service to taxis for local transportation.

This place really nickel and dimes you. In-room coffee requires you sign for an additional $15 daily fee. This fee also includes a newspaper, "unlimited" bottled water and access to the gym. What if you don't want a paper or don't plan to use the gym? Unlimited bottled water actually had a limit of 4 per day -- tiny bottles. Items were broken in my room such as the hair dryer, toilet paper holder and counter stool. Everything looks lovely when you come in but everything breaks when you touch it. Very cheap interior finishes. In addition, this place is truly OFF the strip and there is no finished sidewalk so you can walk down to the strip. You must walk in the street part way with construction dirt blowing all over you. The pool is fairly nice -- umbrellas, bar and food service. Friday provided a nice array of music. But Saturday, they have a DJ poolside and the music is incredibly loud. Not what I needed the morning following a night out. All I wanted was to relax poolside and I felt like I was at a disco. Not relaxing at all. The one plus at this hotel is the clientele is diverse -- not your typical Vegas types. Food in the restaurants was pricey, overly salted and airplane quality. Lastly, I had to call everyday to ask them to clean my room. I had the Housekeeping request ON but they would not come. Each day they showed up at about 4pm -- AFTER I had called to request service.
