We stayed at Mayfair Tunneln on July13, 2011, enroute from Gothenburg, Sweden to Germany. We were able to park on the street near the hotel, which is near the central town square, and felt quite safe in doing so with a new car. The hotel manager, who had previously worked in Virginia, was friendly, highly knowledgeable, and helpful. We were able to buy a tunnel pass at the hotel front desk for our next day's trip through Copenhagen, saving us considerable time. Our room was large and comfortable. The hotel had a great buffet breakfast in an historic setting. Malmo is not frequently mentioned as a tourism destination, but it should be! There were many excellent restaurants within walking distance from our hotel.
