WORST SERVICE / WORST EXPERIENCE

- We paid extra for Ocean View rooms, but rooms were not ready at 7:30 pm. Ended up in the different rooms. It took them 2 days to change us back in the rooms we had originally reserved. There also they messed it up. First they gave us the rooms with one single bed instead of two seperate beds. Finally around 10 pm we got the correct rooms. - First night there was an outdoor party that went on till 5 am in the morning, Music was so loud that we could hear it in the rooms. - Bathrooms have sliding doors and have NO LOCKS. These doors come off the tracks every time you use them, and there is almost ONE INCH GAP between the door and the wall, so there is absolutely no privacy. Shower doors don't close tight so it gets flooded after every use. This happned in all five rooms. Grill by the pool took almost 45 min, to come back and tell us that they can not prepare our order because something is not working in the kitchen.

We were very pleased

We didn't want to stay in a chain hotel, and so found this resort online. The lobby area and ocean views were beautiful, and our room was lovely, as well, with a very comfortable bed. Though we only stayed one night the staff addressed us by name and were friendly. There are three swimming areas to choose from and the hotel is a 10 minute drive to Old San Juan by cab. The restaurants on site are convenient and good quality. Our only complaint was the noisy hallway -- the sound carried and at night people talking sounded very loud and woke us up. The other problem was that our shower leaked onto the floor during use.

Good, but not quite LUXURY

We were pleased upon arrival as the hotel has a beautiful new lobby and registration area. We arrived late evening so when we assessed our room the next morning, we found falling trim work and some unclean areas of the very cramped bathroom. We were immediately given another room and hotel staff was wonderful. The hotel is located very close to Old San Juan which we found to be very convenient, but the small beach area is somewhat disappointing. The pool areas are wonderful with great service and towels and drinks are plentiful. Overall, great service, good location and beautiful views, but not quite LUXURY.

ok for the money

Room where clean and just like the pictures show, beautiful ocean view and excellent beds. The bathroom was awesome. Need clarification about pool hours, not aware pool was open all night until my departure day. Requested to be moved from my room due to poor air conditioning after speaking to three people at the front desk by the end of the day I was told there was no record of such request and no rooms were available to be moved to. got a call at 12:40 AM to see if I wanted to move. Beach front is not accesible due to rocks in area, there is a small beach on the lagoon side of the hotel that was ok. Pool area is pretty although it should be heated, it was freezing. Location is good although is on the quiet side of Condado area. I will stay in this hotel again but not at the price that I paid for my stay, for the money I expected more.
