Description: Grandview is located at the south end of Las Vegas Blvd, about a 10-minute drive farther south from Mandalay. Bing said as long as you don't feel like you need to be right in the middle of all the happening in/on the strip, it is a good location and it is also very close to the Las Vegas Outlets formerly know as Bells Outlets.
Check in is fairly simple and fast. People are very courteous and helpful. They do offer several free shows or discounts to shows if you attend their owners meetings (let them attempt to sell you a timeshare). If you do buy (I am an owner here) Grandview operates on points so make sure you ask for points and also it has the highest point exchange in Vegas.
The overall amenities are decent to good with improvements happening. It has a nice pool area and arcade that kids will love. They are supposed to build like 8 towers, or something ridiculous like that, so there is still much more to be built; I think they only have 3 towers so far. But construction noise might be a problem depending on where you stay at. But for the most part the noise didn't bother me or my family. Another plus is that the South Coast Casino is next door within walkable distance. It is a decent sized local casino. It has a bowling alley and a theater. Another good thing about the South Coast is that it has a Daycare that is open until 3am. I believe Grandview has one also but you have to be on premises to use it.
The rooms are a decent sized and comfortable. The Kitchen is a full kitchen with modern appliances. The bedroom has a King bed. And the Living room has a sleeper sofa. The bathroom is a Jack'n Jill type with a Jacuzzi tub. Overall it a is quite nice hotel.
For me the Grandview is a great place to stay. But then my family and I come to Vegas several times a year and I have actually live in Vegas for a few month at one time so I don't need that first timers or once every few year timers experience. (You can only keep going to the Strip so many times) So I wouldn't suggest this place for someone looking for the party all night walk the strip experience. Your better off looking at its sister timeshare the Polo Towers. While it is quite older (a lot older) it is right in the thick of things. I'm not saying that you can't get a true Vegas experience from here but it's not as convenient as the Polo Towers are; even Las Vegas Hilton now that the tramway is built and operating.
