Great place to stay.

We stayed at the Grandview because of a family wedding in Las Vegas. We loved the resort, the accomodations, and all the amenities. Check in and check out were both painless. Great casino and restaurants right across the street. You need a car to stay here if you want to go to the strip, as it is a good 5-6 miles away. Yuo can take a trolley, but the pickup times are extremely unreliable. We would stay here again.

Wonderful facilities, clean, bright and roomy. Excellent staff by far the best we have seen in a long time. We owned 4 timeshares before staying here (no other place had rooms available not even our own resort) We now own 5 because we liked this one so much. Maybe we'll sell our other Las Vegas Resort any one want to buy one (not this one the one that had no rooms available)?

awesome!

We had a great experience with our 2 nights at the Grandview. The staff was very friendly and personable and we enjoyed our stay. We will definitely come back for our next trip.

Spotlessly clean, spacious, well appointed, has a Jacuzzi, full size refrigerator, range and dishwasher and stack washer/dryer. Way, way south of the strip...but north of resort, lots of shopping, restaurants, etc. The buildings are a bit like a drum...you'll hear things, but the noise didn't interfere with sleep...currently construction on-going, so construction noise during weekdays from dawn until....and there will be at least an attempt to get you to attend a time-share pitch.

Grandview at Las Vegas

Grandview is located at the south end of Las Vegas Blvd, about a 10-minute drive farther south from Mandalay. Bing said as long as you don't feel like you need to be right in the middle of all the happening in/on the strip, it is a good location and it is also very close to the Las Vegas Outlets formerly know as Bells Outlets.

Check in is fairly simple and fast. People are very courteous and helpful. They do offer several free shows or discounts to shows if you attend their owners meetings (let them attempt to sell you a timeshare). If you do buy (I am an owner here) Grandview operates on points so make sure you ask for points and also it has the highest point exchange in Vegas.

The overall amenities are decent to good with improvements happening. It has a nice pool area and arcade that kids will love. They are supposed to build like 8 towers, or something ridiculous like that, so there is still much more to be built; I think they only have 3 towers so far. But construction noise might be a problem depending on where you stay at. But for the most part the noise didn't bother me or my family. Another plus is that the South Coast Casino is next door within walkable distance. It is a decent sized local casino. It has a bowling alley and a theater. Another good thing about the South Coast is that it has a Daycare that is open until 3am. I believe Grandview has one also but you have to be on premises to use it.

The rooms are a decent sized and comfortable. The Kitchen is a full kitchen with modern appliances. The bedroom has a King bed. And the Living room has a sleeper sofa. The bathroom is a Jack'n Jill type with a Jacuzzi tub. Overall it a is quite nice hotel.

For me the Grandview is a great place to stay. But then my family and I come to Vegas several times a year and I have actually live in Vegas for a few month at one time so I don't need that first timers or once every few year timers experience. (You can only keep going to the Strip so many times) So I wouldn't suggest this place for someone looking for the party all night walk the strip experience. Your better off looking at its sister timeshare the Polo Towers. While it is quite older (a lot older) it is right in the thick of things. I'm not saying that you can't get a true Vegas experience from here but it's not as convenient as the Polo Towers are; even Las Vegas Hilton now that the tramway is built and operating.
