Not a "HOTEL" as advertised it is a "TIMESHARE" which means there are no hotel amenities as expected. If you want your room cleaned you need to pay an extra $50.00. This establishment is falsly advertising this location with Travelocity as a Hotel. The staff were very uninterested in resolving any complaints. There is inadequite parking for the facility. If you are looking for a "HOTEL" don't stay here!
Grandview at Las Vegas

The hotel is near South Point Casino, south of the strip. It is spacious, clean and the services are good. South Point Hotel and casino across the road offers food with reasonable price. Friday buffet cost 2 dollars more with seafood...oyster, crab leg, etc. The bowling facility and cinema in South Point is great for families with kids. Grandview charged $10 for using the safety box and no free Internet (about $10/day) in the room. You can use the Internet in the activity room and there is a 15-minute lock out policy so that everybody have a chance to use it. It is much better to have a car. We noticed that security patrol was frequent both during day and night times which really give you a feeling of good security even at night time.

We loved the Grandview! The beds were very comfy, the Jacuzzi tub was very nice for soaking, we enjoyed having a separate bedroom from the kids, the grounds were very clean and nicely landscaped, check-in was pleasant (even though my name was not on the computer, the agent quickly resolved the issue), and we were not harrassed in any way about the timeshare. Having South Coast Casino across the street was perfect, and we loved the food and the equestrian center there. It was 10 minutes max from the Strip, bus stop was on the corner, and the parking was free. We will definitely stay again.
One bedroom cando was great!

We enjoyed being able to have our breakfast and coffee before exploring Las Vegas each morning. Every this about the condo was excellent. REally enjoyed the large whirlpool soaking tub and separate shower.
Did not enjoy the HARD sell on timeshares or the attitude once you said no.
We would stay again.

the room was nicely appointed and was clean. We were in the new building so the pool was not finished. I have 2 complaints. first the walls have no insulation in them so you can hear everything happening in the next room. When someone uses the jetted tub it sounds like they are in your room. (someone used theirs at 1:00 AM against the rules). Second was the parking. Their is parking for about 1/2 the tenants and the rest have to park in a no parking zone across the street not on the property. Very inconvenient.
