This hotel is situated in the heart of the city, to the south of the River Liffey and within close proximity of Dublin's main business districts, tourist and cultural attractions. We were able to walk to O'Connell Street and the heart of the city.
We turned our car in at the airport and took a cab - about 30 euros. You don't want to drive in Dublin unless you are an experienced Irish cabby!
The hotel is very clean and the service was good. I was using Holiday Inn Priority Club points for our stay and it was a great bargain. There are several pubs in the area for an evening meal and a pint. We were fortunate to experience an Irish wake in one of the nearby pubs and it was quite an experience.
