La Playa Noble House Hotel

Best Things Nearby:
Gulf of Mexico and white-sand beach

Best Things About the Resort:
Quiet, relaxing, and clean

Resort Experience:
There aren't many hotels or resorts on the beach in Naples. La Playa Noble House provided a wonderful, relaxing getaway, and that's why you would go to Naples in the first place. The rooms are decorated in a friendly but elegant tropical décor, with lovely matching drapes and pillows, and a teddy bear to boot. The beds in the double room are iron canopies. All rooms have roomy balconies. There are two buildings, an older three-story overlooking the beautiful pool areas and a high-rise overlooking the gulf.

Spending the day at the beach was very comfortable, with complimentary chaise lounges and umbrellas. A server comes by every half-hour to see if you want anything. The sand was lovely with lots of shells. The water was clear and refreshing. The food at the resort was good, but pricey, as were the spa services. Complimentary yoga and Pilates classes were excellent.

Very Clean!! There was maid service daily. The restaraunt is right there in the area. Walking through the area is very safe. There is a pool with a jacuzzi next to it, but the beach is only two blocks away -- and what a view. Beach chairs and shade huts are available at the beach. Drinks, including water, are available also. Taxis are caught right there, as well as personal tour guides. Exquisite ambience!

We had a wonderful room with a king size bed all done in tropical colors, with a balcony as wide as our room that had 2 adirondack chairs on it, overlooking the beach. Our room had a wicker love seat as well as a wicker chair and ottoman, a desk and chair, a large cabinet that held the tv and minibar. Our bathroom was huge. It was also all marble with a wonderful vanity and great pressure in the shower. The closet included two waffle quilted robes for our use.

The staff here is the friendliest and most accomodating I have ever met in all my many travels. The sunsets here are to die for and as soon as the sun falls below the horizon they ring a bell and mark the time on a slate. We can't wait to return here.

I got this room at a steep discount but without it and during the season the price could be upwards of $400. They have all sorts of spa treatments available and on the beach you can rent chairs, cabanas, and all the water sport equipment you could possible want.
